If they re-sign Evans, I would like to see him start the year with Evans and Heineman... I think that would give 3 really solid lines that can score, assuming line 2 continues to progress this year.

Newhook will likely be off that 2nd line a few months into the season next year.

Just think how amazing this team could be with 3 really good offensive lines, and 2 super strong PP units.

That is how I see it... also, it is about setting expectations. Hutson did not start on the #1 PP / Top pairing, he played a few months and then earned it.

I'd like to see Demidov earn it, too.

I'm not entirely sure about the line combinations but as far as I'm concerned he's immediately part of the top 6... with all due respect to Evans and Heineman I want to see an elite player like that be paired with better players, right from the get-go.

I'm fairly certain that's what will happen, we'll see.

Yeah.... pretty much.

Although that line benefits greatly from Newhook's speed defensively. A Demidov-Dach-Laine might be a high risk/high reward line.
