How do you explain Miller walking out on his team during a crucial time in the schedule? Wasn't an injury, addiction, or mental health condition or he would have gone on IR for cap savings. The team wanted him to be a leader and he couldn't meet their expectations. Instead, he's become a distraction.
You handle the Vancouver media like Kesler and Mitchell did. It's so fucking easy, but Miller is too braindead to figure it out.

Maybe Willy can teach the guys how to rape chicks too.
And that’s cute. GM’s always tell the full truth. - TurdFergeson
OMG it's so cute, its bordering on adorable - you wanna snuggle up to it. Why don't you put on your Afghan, turn on Murder She Wrote and pick up your luke warm green tea with two hands...

How do I explain it? I don't you a$$hole, how in the hot fawk do any of us know whats going on in his personal life.
Seriously, what the fawk are you talking about? You're a grown man, and thats honestly the narrative you're drawing from his hiatus. You have NO IDEA why he took time away from the team. You made all that poop up. Wake the fawk up, this is happening in every sport, just because your dinosaur, archaic brain cant understand it, doesnt mean you should try to pretend like you can fathom what these atheletes are going through mentally. You're 100% the problem, and this horsepoop narrative that youre projecting onto him suddenly becomes his "fault" - and the "justification" for poopting all over him and running him out of town. - Brooks_Light
Personal life? Oh, you're one of those "feelings" guys. Fag.

You make Nighthawk's obsession with Miller look safe.
Sure the media and fans have blown it up, but it's a much larger thing than a guy having a down year. Allvin and Ruthy have reportedly trying to trade one of him or Petey for 6 weeks, as something is really off with that. And if they feel that trading him away is better in the long run of the team (addition by subtraction), then you sorta have to go with it. There's damage that can happen if you keep him around the team and the wound festers. - NewYorkNuck
Facts & options…
1) Miller is better than any return
2) Media/Fans running Miller outta town
3) Keep him til the TDL not cave to low balls
4) Offseason if necessary
Unless there are actually more teams interested than rumoured the room has to suck it up & let this go wherever it’ll go.
Boeser is more the focus for me given his ufa status & how much he signs for. I lean towards being sellers with him & the Miller drama going on. Demko is still playing himself into top form. EP searching for his scoring knack. It’s a tease they’ve sucked this bad & still right there in WC race.
JR/PA gotta be leaning towards a PO push & beyond. I’d do a reset/retool.

If you're trading Miller, I don't think you should bring back Boeser. A lot of Boeser's success seems to be putting his stick on the ice and accepting those deceptive fake shot passes from Miller (& from Hughes too). When Miller was out Boeser didn't really drive anything.
Farhan on Miller: What we understand was a confrontation (not physical) after this one game when he got benched and then the next day the organization announced he was going to take a personal leave.

“So @FarhanLaljiTSN was absolutely right. The idea that this market is tough is a joke. Listening to Alvin presser and only good questions were from @patersonjeff . The rest were all soft ball ones. The team has the media so scared about losing their access, they ask nothing.”

Tocchet wants him gone!!! - Pacificgem
Exactly what I think happened. He was told to go home and get his poop together. That's why they couldn't list him as an injury.

Yes totally agree I just didn’t say it. Canucks don’t have enough playmakers. Miller gone will leave it all up to Hughes. Some talk about goal scoring this n that I see it as playmakers make it tick. Speed & skill is the bread & butter before anything else. Shooters are rare that create their own space & shot.
Ovi Matthews Draisaitl Bossy Hull goals are cuz of their talent but rely heavily on set ups. Very few ever like Gretzky Lemieux Sakic Bure Jagr McD etc come around.
"He takes ownership. It's a process for him to become a star player in the league. The work that he's putting in, it's not a finished product yet. [We are] definitely seeing signs after his injury here that he's playing a solid two-way hockey game, pushing the pace harder, and he will continue to work on his game. And for me, [it's] more about the process and playing the right way. And when you do so, the points will come."
