Dhaliwal: Miller's camp made it clear he didn't want to go to another Canadian market.

If true, I doubt his heart was ever committed to the Canucks.

Him and Tocchet got into it pretty bad and that was the straw that broke the camels back. |

Ya, it's probably just a coincidence that a 3rd NHL team is trying to trade him. - Marwood
After he arrived here with the cancer tag already on him and the rumors of one rift or another between him and team mates since his arrival.
The denial is entertaining to say the least. |

Most American NHL players end up not wanting to play in Canada. Many variables. |

If you're trading Miller, I don't think you should bring back Boeser. A lot of Boeser's success seems to be putting his stick on the ice and accepting those deceptive fake shot passes from Miller (& from Hughes too). When Miller was out Boeser didn't really drive anything. - Sayros
I agree and said similar a couple of days ago. Too risky banking on Boeser to have a season like last on someone else's line other than miller's after so much history of struggling on other lines.

Now if you could trade Miller for Crosby straight up, I think Boeser could thrive! While obviously not what he was, Sid still makes really off-pattern and random passes giving shooters plenty of space.
For my logic with plenty of holes, Sid wants one last feather in cap to bring cup to Canada (one might argue Montreal looking like better bet nowadays) & back to where he won olympic gold. Malkin can finally become the man in Pitts. Miller back home where he would shortly cause that team turmoil and finally force them to rebuild.
Obviously more likely Boeser to Pittsburgh, but one can dream |

Myers with his biggest positive contribution to team ever!
No McDavid vs. Canucks on thurs ... although nucks fans with tix to game in Edm may be a bit choked missing change to see McD. |

Kyper: I heard something happened between Tocchet & Miller in the last week to cause this rush to trade him.

I've been loving the Oilers fans tears for the last couple of days. Fair suspension...which means more whining from that disgusting franchise's fanbase. Excellent. |

In the end, Miller decides. I doubt he would want to miss the playoffs and struggle since Crosby would be off the team making success difficult. On top of that, I'm sure Miller knows he's a fkn loser unless he's happy and everything is going well so he's only going to OK to a location that he has the best chance at being happy and get lots of coddling which he clearly needs... the guy is one of the highest maintenance players I think I've seen in a Canucks uni.
