Potentially. There's always the chance Miller gets on his horse, plays well the next week or two, and teams start to get a little more desperate closer to the TDL.

Unlikely, and I'd rather this happen sooner rather than later... and think Ruthy and Allvin want to move on from this too.

Fighting with the coach isn't a good look. Three teams in 12 years, soon to be four.

NY Isn't in a panic to do a deal, VAN is and they know it. I think CAR is only a smokescreen.

Expect an underwhelming return.

And if Pouty remains stagnant, does he become even more expendable?
- Reubenkincade

No. Management, from what I've read, has pretty much determined already who they're getting rid of. If all things were equal, then maybe... but because of Miller's age and whatever else is happening behind the scenes, he's probably a goner.

They're giving Petey room to get back to his potential.

Read a good post asking why would Miller wave for Rangers, they are in a bit of a rebuild phase with an aging core. Much better options out there if you want to go for a cup. At miller’s age and current contract length, time is running out.

No, it's not. But if they can both zip their poop up for another week or two, maybe things get easier for a trade.

I still think a trade is imminent... with the notion out there that he wants to go to an eastern team, maybe they can convince him of Buffalo?

Pretty sure NY knows about the fight. Yes, you need more teams in on this.

Oh I meant if they just get along for the next couple weeks, show a somewhat reformed Miller. But yes, more teams are better.

From Pronman at the Athletic, so take it with a hand full of salt, but something to read this morning:

Wow, with that logic you could just trade Miller for Eichel straight up. haha

Or you could get the video coach to sexually assault him.

I will always remind them of their disgusting choice of a GM. It's a civic duty.

Miller has history in NYR. Plus it appears he wants out of the Nucks organization pretty bad so there is that too lol.

So many factors to consider though...
-what does she (or he) look like?
-softness of the hands
-mood music
-number of pain killers and/or other substances in the bloodstream
-confidentiality
-how many participants
-price

He should be pushing for Dallas or NJ.

Both are excellent choices over NY Rangers. Carolina too.

At this point do you think he actually gets traded? Considering how his value has plummetted?

I don't, and at this point I don't care, just get rid of him. Any value he had is plummeting faster than Joe Biden's reputation. #crimefamily

But his past two seasons were excellent. I think most GMs take the big picture into account more than half-season struggles. Time will tell.

Boy, I wish GMs would stop handing out these no trade/movement clauses. That more than anything lowers the return on trades. Get rid of it in the next CBA.

Biz on JT Miller:

My understanding is he has asked for a trade. Publicly he's denying he asked for a trade.

He clearly wants out. The Canucks want him out. Would be helpful for the team if he was more open about where he went.

I think the minute a player requests a trade, the NMC is voided.
