Maybe it can drag on for another month or so with us keeping Miller in the end. With a nice press conference at the trade deadline telling everyone how stupid they were for listening to giant douche Friedman's bulls hit in the first place. |

Kinda sounds like Miller is a bit of a baby and wants out, from all the news starting to come out with the benching and him taking a leave of absence(AKA time to cry about it). Pretty disappointing news, I liked Miller before this but screw a guy that doesn't want to play for us and would rather have a tantrum and go home. The real Pouty has stood up! |

He didn’t have a tantrum and go home. He got into it with Tocchet and was sent home.

Think the Devils have the best assets to come back. Not exactly sure what Allvin is prioritizing, but getting Mercer and Nemec would be a homerun. Would clearly have to JT to make it happen |

Zadorov interview, touches on Vancouver: https://rg.org/news/hocke...ver-and-thrived-in-boston - NewYorkNuck
This is a very interesting read. Love how transparent he is. Crazy to hear all the benefits of playing in Van as a player and his development still could not outweigh the personal/family side of playing in the United States. Really shows how tough it is for Canadian teams to attract and retain talent not only as it comes to American players, but international as well.
Had he teetered our way, could have been a different season. The hole is so glaring on defense.

The Devil's would be a force with Miller in their lineup. |

I mean, if you believe everything the press is feeding you. Sure. But so far nothing I've heard is out of the norm from what I've personally experienced in different dressing rooms. Nobody knows why he took his leave. Nobody knows for certain that he's getting traded or the organization is shopping him. That's because the organization has been consistently tight lipped about it. The rest is the media circus trying to generate hits and sell some news. It's nothing new and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it was all a giant load of crap from the beginning. |

Yup. And once miller is gone, Garland, Boeser and Demko will want out. Canucks will no longer be able to attract Americans and that was the only advantage we had over other Canadian teams. Enjoy team Sweden Canucks fans! You have earned it |

Yes, they would. The other plus to sending him to the East only is that they're bidding in division and in conference against each other... if the other teams don't want the Devils to be a force they better step up their offers |

I'd be surprised if he's telling randoms that he's being traded after being so tight lipped with leave and everything else.
If it is true, what a crazy turn of events for him, the city and the team. Within the course of half a season he's gone from having his name chanted louder than any player in Van in recent history (for every point and spontaneous) to being booted out of town. It's actually a pretty spectacular feat without some kind of personal transgression becoming public. |

The Journalists reports I have read are: he got benched, argued with the coach and then took a leave of absence. sounds like a big baby to me.

And all we really know is that he got benched. The rest is up to people's imaginations. Look at the wording and language of some of these reports. There's a lot of "it is believed" or "it's speculated". Show me a concrete report about Miller's situation where someone said anything of truth and substance, then attached their name and reputation to it. Hasn't happened yet. |

Yup, the sooner they dismantle Benning's core of selfish, immature players the better. |

Well if the report of the trade was true that almost happened with NYR it would have been Alvin pulling a Benning! |
