I have not been drunk in many years, I do enjoy a light beer from time to time to socialize or while having a cigar. They also easily fit in my purse, as golfing said.

Carolina and NJ make more sense in a potential trade for JTM rather than NYR.

I'm hoping Carolina. They have plenty of nice pieces.

That's a solid first team. Miller and Petey on the same line lol.. could have been Bert

Saw the Avs one the other day... it's absurd:

The guys an idiot but...

According to
@coreypronman
, he thinks the Hurricanes could give up a top prospect + assets for J.T. Miller. The trade in question would look like:

#RaiseUp Receive:

- JT Miller

#Canucks Receive:

- Jesperi Kotkaniemi
- Nikita Artamonov
- 2025 1st
- 2026 2nd

Spencer Martin is not needed. So essentially Miller for Necas. Necas plays wing doesn't he?

We need centres and Dmen in a big way. That's what I'm hoping for in a Miller trade.

I was thinking same with replacing Pouty with Bert. And that Avs team is absurd. Frustratingly so.

I think it was Drance that was writing about the Horvat trade scenario and comparing it to the Miller one. Basically said that the return on Horvat was underwhelming (Beauvilier, Raty, 1st), and it was the subsequent flipping for Hronek that saved that trade. I assume if the Canucks don't get a center back, you'd see them try and make a similar move.

Yeah Martin would be a backup in Abby, just a space filler.

So yeah Necas and a pick for JTM.
Necas is big, fast and plays C/wing.
i'd be all over that swap.

Seravalli saying the Canucks and Rangers trade fell apart because they wanted Canucks to retain part of the contract.

Exactly.
Especially if a high pick is in play, i'd expect that to be packaged to pick up a D or C.
Maybe with Boeser.

Miller isn't a great fit for the Rags tbh.

Yes, because GM's leak trade negotiation details while they're still negotiating all the time. Also, it's Seravalli. He's about as much of an insider as Eklund.

Hard PASS - what an absolute scam. Kotkaniemi is a soft, 3C, that doesnt move the needle in any way - basically another Blueger but more of pu$$y if you can believe that.

Doubt Carolina are giving up Necas, Aho, Jarvis or Svech so thats where the deal dies IMO. They're the only players I'd be interested in. In terms of prospects, it starts with Morrow or Nadeau + the late 1st.

Jarvis, Morrow, 1st = Pipe dream.
