None of the political bullpoop that is posted in here regardless of if it's right or left leaning needs to be said. The post your praising as 'needed to be said' is the height of hypocrisy but you knew this because it likely aligns with what you think or feel.

The post was political and then proceeded with "only talk hockey in here" which really means "I wanted to voice my opinion but don't want anyone else to post anything contrary to it" which is the exact problem in here.

If everyone just stopped posting about politics regardless of which way they think, feel or believe and stuck to talking hockey that would be what needs to be said.

This place is not a place where politics is supposed to be discussed and it needs to used that way and moderated as such.

If not that then do many who don't want to read it a favour and create a sub topic (or use an old blog comment section) on politics and let everyone who wants to 'debate' (and I use that term very loosely because I see none of that here, only pathetic and childish name calling towards those who have an opposing view again both "left" and "right" and neither is less guilty of this than the other) do it there all they want.

Maybe we should stop trying to find a partner that would make our most expensive Dman look good....and think about replacing our most expensive dman.
Shouldnt out "top" dman make others look good and not need someone to make him look good?
I like morgan but this has been an issue for years.
At $7.5m, and our "number 1" dman, we shouldnt need someone to hold his hand or prop him up.

He is and he's actually having a terrible year 5v5 offensively as well.

For a guy that gets 60% OZ and lots of time with the big4 his GF/GA per 60 is total bullpoop.

The leafs are not moving Morgan unless they have a Dman to replace him....so most likely an off season trade.
Also, adding minten in order to move out morgan, seems like a waste of assets.
With 4 years left, Im sure they could find a team willing to take on 40 - 60pt $6m - $7.5m dman. If the leafs have to eat $1-$1.5m to get a decent asset back or if they eat no money and get not much back.....Im sure it could be done.
But are the leafs willing to do it? Dunno.
