Yes

Schneider and Barger now available in trade for bullpen help

- mr.sir

I'm not sure if Barger stinks or not, but I'm positive that Davis Schneider does.

My wife only charges me $1.50 per hot dog, so my living room is actually cheaper than going to a game.
- Atomic Wedgie

but she charges you $17.50 for a tallboy can of beer.

6) Varsho
7) Kirk
8) Wagner
9) Clement

yeah, so thats (frank)ing awful.

a lot of really bad hitting last season

Andrew Stoeten
@AndrewStoeten
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (.396 OBP) took 77% of his plate appearances in 2024 while batting third in the lineup.

Jays cleanup hitters as a group slashed .247/.329/.359 with a league-worst 12 home runs.

Hard to overstate how badly needed a slugger hitting behind Vlad has been.

Pretty sure the Jays need his hair to maintain the balance with Nylander and the Leafs.

Best option because of speed and L/R balance

Springer should have never been a leadoff hitter

Gimenez has like .300 obp the last 2 seasons, even George who is dead has been 315

speed is fine, but if you cant get on base what good is it

Chytil Lindgren and 1st was proposed trade for JT Miller

Details have emerged of the nixed trade that nearly sent Vancouver Canucks forward J.T. Miller to the New York Rangers.

Rangers center Filip Chytil, defenseman Ryan Lindgren, and some future assets - including a first-round pick - could've been headed to Vancouver had the trade gone through, sources told The Athletic. Disagreement on the protection structure of the first-round pick reportedly proved to be a key hurdle in negotiations.

That seems like a bad trade for Vancouver unless that first got real good

They said conditions on the first are what held it up.

It’s not a good return even if unprotected.

Feels like a lot less than the treasure trove many in the Canucks blog comments are certain JT Miller will fetch them.

Some in the Canucks blog have said hard no to that. Others are just realizing that the trade value for JT Miller has dropped a lot since it's clear the team wants to move him and he seems to want to move.

Others - well they are doing what we've seen done in here often. Poop all over a player until they are to be traded then overvalue what they would fetch in return.

Of course the other end of that spectrum is the silliness like when people wanted to move Willy Styles for a 3rd line C or a top 6 D man and a bag of pucks. lol

Will be interesting to see what goes down with JTM.

A damaged, but still young guy with 2nd line potential, a 4/5 young defender and (protections/conditions) aside a top-10 pick for a 31 year old with a history of being great or doing his best to want out that is signed until 37?

Seen worse deals, but wouldn't do it unless the two are actually out with their knives behind the scenes.
