I agree but they played probably their worst period in 2025. Never should’ve gotten to OT

I THOUGHT I could rely on the scoresheet but obviously I was wrong. It was 9 seconds after it ended. Nothing else changes. You think the goal and the penalty are unrelated. I dont. Also, goal or not it was a really dumb penalty to take and gave Montreal momentum. Idk what you want me to say. Rempe plays 7 minutes a game and deters no one. What was Montreal supposed to be scared of? They still teed off on chytil

i still cant believe miller just gave up possession in OT.

you have the puck alone on the boards, skate the thing back out liek they do all 3v3 and reset. he just chucked it around the boards, and then lazy on the game winner.

Yea the only way this trade makes sense if it’s our mess for your mess. If we are trading 1sts and top prospects Drury is crazy. But not worried about it anymore, I think it’s over

I mean, again, if u just watched the game you would’ve saw the Rangers had the puck in the MTL end when the PP expired. I wouldn’t call that related to the penalty. Also, Rempe expected Arber to drop em, happens. Rempe isn’t the reason we lost, Tom.

Rempe is a side show at this point. Can’t even win a fight at 6’7. Sad

Sometimes qualifying or quantifying what it is proves to elusive. Occasionally, just have to accept that something changes when he is in the lineup, despite limited minutes. I am not sure I know what it is either

He doesn’t deter anyone from anything. He has no discernible skills. He takes penalties. He can’t play in close games. MAYBE it’s the better forwards getting extra time while he gets sat for a bunch of shifts that make the difference? Or maybe there’s literally nothing to it other than we won the presidents trophy last year, and started 12-4-1 this year, so naturally his record while in the lineup (key here is being eligible to play) will be good? It’s only 28 games mind you

I think it’s the confidence he gives other guys on the team. If someone starts taking liberties they have someone that will step up and try to put an end to it. I agree, he’s a punching bag at this point. He really needs to get better at fighting or he’s going to have some serious CTE.

But imagine ur a player, physical game like this, and you have Xhekaj and Anderson running around playing physical. Normally it would be up to guys like Cuylle Carrick and Edstrom to address that, they don’t have to now.

Anyone that’s played contact sports knows you have alot more confidence when u have the biggest guy on your side. How many times has Vally talked about the confidence Colton Orr gave guys when he was in the lineup. It’s just a good feeling knowing you have someone on ur side that has ur back. The whole team plays with more confidence and physical when he’s in the lineup. Period. End of story. Tom can continue his pouting about it, but end of the day we’re a better team with Rempe in the lineup (and I agree he’s not a good hockey player)

Also this from EKs last blog in contrast to this actual insider’s tweet is hilarious

“ I just spoke with the sour ce via text five minutes ago. He confirmed the Pendguins have been calling around and have talked to at least four teams over this weekend regarding a trade. Mostly Eastern teams, but one source is convinced that they have made at least a few calls to Vancouver about JT Miller…..”
