Putting aside my personal disdain for Pride nights, I really reject corporations forcing their WOK BS upon sporting events. I can't even watch the NFL anymore and I will be sure to skip the pre-game of this Flyers game tonight.
But since Comcast wants to force their pride night on me, I think it only fair to share my viewpoints back. Afterall, we are supposed to be a free and fair society. So please allow me to share my thoughts on pride. Pride is NOT something to be celebrated, it is something to be vigorously avoided. I am sure you have heard the expression "Pride goeth before the fall"? Well this expression comes from the book of Proverbs and the actual text is:
In my faith pride is one of seven deadly sins, because pride is self-devotion, self-justification, and self-glorying in contempt of God. In other words, we don't need a higher order, we are Gods ourselves.
So I suggest you avoid pride at all costs, and never for a second believe pride should be celebrated. Be happy, but never proud. Someone in fact asked me the other day if I was proud of my son for winning a really close match, and I said no, but I am very happy for him. - jd250

Is there a man on this earth more proud of himself than our current president?
that would be awesome. did Torts have him in NY at all? - login
Actually I believe Torts coached him during his rookie year. I highly doubt the Flyers have interest in Miller. However, it would be wild to trade everyone's best friend for the locker room bully.
I am ready to send Kolosov to the AHL or back home. I have seen enough of him. they have other goalies in the system who are willing to earn a spot on the team.

I can understand not wanting to lose a prospect but at this point it is a headache. If he won't go to the AHL then terminate his contract and let him go back home.

no termination as that would be foolish to me at this time. he won't go to ahl then let him go home. still hold his rights

I would be fine with that. I just find it odd that this is continuing. At some point make a decision and move on. Don't want this to challenge the "culture" of the team they have worked so hard to build .

If he does not want to play in the AHL than a termination is best. The KHL is not going to help him develop his game any further. Hes done well in the KHL and hes struggling heavily here. He needs to play in North America. One of the goalies has to go elsewhere. At this point im not sure Kolosov is part of the Future, Fedotov isnt

that is your opinion. no need to terminate. keep his rights as doesn't hurt anything.
