I originally said I would do this, but now I’m kind of walking back that opinion. I can’t believe Fil is still only 25. Feels like he’s been in the league for 20+ years already |

Like chytl but lets be real, he is not going to be back if he makes it past his contract. Too injury prone |

Agreed. I get the injury concerns with Chytil, but every game he is one of our most impactful and noticeable forwards.
Will Chytil ever have a 100pt season, probably not. Will JT Miller ever have another 100pt season, I'd also argue probably not.
Both players have their off-ice issues, and I'm not saying their off-ice issues + on ice performance gives them equal value, but give me the player who will be 27 at the end of his deal vs paying assets for the right to pay a declining JT Miller into his 35+ contract years.

Yup.
If I thought the Rangers were a cup contender, I would definitely be interested in miller. That cap hit and length would be poop for the Rangers in the position they are in. |

Exactly. Some players just click with certain teams, I think JT and the canucks are one of them. I cant see Miller getting those numbers with the Rangers. |

Its a valid opinion, but the length, amount of Millers contract, plus his age.. I'm going with Chytil |

Now, Zib for Miller. I’m in on that. Not gonna happen though. |

In that aspect yea I do not want Miller. If we are getting Miller no matter what and chytl is part of it I would not be devastated about it
Rangers do not need another 30 plus player with a big contract. Unless Zib went to in another deal

Bingo, comparable contracts and age.
At least Zib and Kreids have been more noticeable as of late. I'm just not holding any hope on Zib getting back to where he was a few years ago. |

I am cool with miller for Chytill plus as long as zib is traded this offseason. Can’t have both zib and miller on the roster long term |

Me & Chytil ride and die together. I know I'm probably slightly biased, but the dude plays 3rd line minutes, 20 secs of 2nd unit PP time, and a lot of nights he is our most noticeable player. Still young, If he stays healthy and got more minutes and PP time...... |

If we were contenders this year, I’d think about it but probably lean more towards no. Being that this season is such a crap shoot, it would be extremely foolish to do. |

Yup. Basically what I was saying before, cup contender, I would probably lean towards yes. The team right now, nope.
Like in 94 where they gave up Marchant, Amonte and Gartner for McTavish, Andersson, Matteau and Noonan |

Zib is not waiving to go there. If they get miller zib has to go in another trade. |
