It’s just puzzling. The guy doesn’t seem to have offensive skills. He throws absolute hand grenades for setup passes and I can’t ever remember even seeing him get a scoring chance so his shot is hard to judge.
Not even hating, I actually kind of like and pull for him. He is deceptively tough and strong on his skates and of course is a solid defensive C. Guys bounce off him. Seems to need a sense of urgency IMO
Really they’re not great contracts but they can be overcome if every other move isn’t a whiff.
