Seravelli has an interview saying the rangers unlikely to get him now. Carolina is heavy after him, and Boston lying in the weeds. |

At this point, barring trading mika which isn’t happening, the most pressing move is one that replaces lindgren with a real good partner for Fox |

The Sharks could be worth calling for either Wallman or Ferraro. |

Id be willing to trade an unprotected 1st round pick for Byram, but Im not sure what else we could offer them.
For a real, out of left field move... age wise people might not be crazy about it, but the Predators are really struggling. These moves they made have not worked at all. Why not kick the tires on Josi? |

Wallman is a guy I’ve wondered about for a while. He always seemed like a good dman, but DET had to attach a 2nd just to dump him? |

Seems to be doing quite alright playing on a bad SJ team.
Its tough to judge guys on bad teams beyond stats and metrics since we dont watch those games to give it the proper eye test. |

I actually read something today on him and they’re very happy with Walman. Like no interest in moving him at all.
Ferraro was a guy I liked last year because he blocks a zillion shots and I’m pretty sure he is signed one more year after this season. Fairly cheap. Idk how much better he is over Lindgren tho |

That’s not the kind of guy you get to pair with Fox. Neither is Byram, but Buffalo has 2 other LDs that are |

Why is Josi not the guy? Youve got 2 of the silkiest dmen paired together. Its not always about physicality. If you want you put Miller with Fox and Josi with Schneider. |

Idk if trading for Miller is the best idea right now. This team is rolling and finally playing like a team. We’ll see what happens but I’d rather stand pat at least til the TDL. Keep banking pts - Slimtj100
I repeat... I do not want JT Miller on this team |

What did JT do to you? refuse a selfie? haha Jk- I guess it depends on the deal. If with retained money and only prospects (excluding Gabe) and draft picks (1st rd protected) wtf not?
was at two blow out wins in a row-My next game is against the Bruins- hope i keep up the streak |

That’s a bold statement
I tend to agree with you. The roster has gone through a pretty big makeover already in a short period of time, got through a very bad team slump and come through the other side still alive and kicking. It didn’t look good for a very long time but they’ve finally settled down and I think Miller may not be the best personality to bring in right now.
You could argue this current roster is better then last years roster and if it gets in, will be dangerous team to play. Use the money on a top pair D for Fox, like Vegas did with Hanafin, would be the ideal pickup for imo for any other major addition
I think Matheson is someone to go after, or Provorov. But I think CBJ is more likely to add rather than subtract and go for the playoffs instead of sell. Mtl has a ton of D prospects where they could stay patient and wait a year or two before buying, and still be in sell mode this year |

what if they agree to retain 30% ? Miller plays RW and center and as we know is an excellent PKer and knows some of the vet players on the team. |

Solid win, good feelings all around. - MeanestOfTimes
Lots of guys looking good right now.
Mika is still concerning. A man with confidence does not try to pass when he is 5 feet from the goalie with no one in front of him. But, my biggest concern is that Panarin is still trying to play the game without entering the middle of the offensive zone. He looked to get the puck in there to others tonight, so it wasn't glaringly obvious. But, he has no interest in getting to the inside himself and that could mean the same frustration in the playoffs (should we happen to make it). |

Great point. Creating from the outside, but he has been willing to low to the boards, not being the net, to get the puck. Am okay with avoiding the dirty area now, but he will have to go there in postseason. |

I think what is helping now, and in the postseason hopefully, is the secondary scoring. Getting scoring from the defense like last night for example. 3rd - 4th lines chipping in like they have been. We’re very easy to defend if none of that is going really, like say in the series vs Florida. Because then we have more weapons to defend where the best opponents defenders aren’t swarming Panarin all game long. That’s all generally been the issue. Playoffs are much harder for perimeter guys to score as we know
I feel like if the Rangers get in, we’ll be the team that no one wants to face because we’re deeper then last year and will be peaking at the right time |

It’s not just the stupid passes. Mika missed every single one timer

For sure. I was just using that as an example of how it stems from a lack of confidence. |

Yea it’s definitely lack of confidence it appears. Especially at home. Like he’s tense because the spotlight is on him constantly. Missing those 3 breakaways vs CBJ I think it was? was a killer for his confidence. His overall game is better, he just can’t score anymore |
