This team tonight (and Wash game) resembled last years team. They didnt take their foot off the gas in the third - that's how you close out games and thats why they've been blowing leads.

Lankinen as the starter - tough luck Demko, until he figures out his poop, he sits. And i hope Tocc learns something from St.L pulling Binnington after 3 goals. Thats something we should absolutely start doing - fawk anyones feelings, if Demko lets in 3 in 10 mins, you're done - fawk off and sit down.

Team has to start gaining the O zone with control. The off the rush attack plays into this teams strengths. Fawk this dump and chase garbage, it's not working, don't have to completely change the system, just evolve and tinker with it.

Changes have to happen but start small, move out the weakest links, promote from within, and keep an eye out closer to the TDL to possibly move out Boeser, Hogs, Demko and target 1 top 4 D and 1-2 of the fastest wingers from bottom feeders (ala Cheap) available.

Team is starting to show their potential again - slowly.

He looks like a very capable 4th line Center. Smart and responsible but almost no offence skill or instincts. I’d be very happy with EP if he was earning what he deserves ($2MM)
