Im still trying to figure out the urgency to get rid of Trouba. The open for business bullpoop when the team was off to a 12-4 start still doesnt make any sense to me. The cap space saved from his contract wasnt needed till next season for Igors contract.

And they won't. He will be a deadline subtraction. I can't see anything else happening. Drury HAS to know that he isn't deserving of a raise or reliable enough for a long term contract. And, I highly doubt they let him walk for nothing at season's end.

With Trouba it was about the locker room. You can't let that sort of environment fester. With Kakko, I have no idea why they felt the need to jump so quickly. Just liked Borgen, I guess.

Because he was still unhappy with them trying to trade him in the offseason, we were 12-6-1 and not looking great already, and clearly we were dogpoop given what happened subsequent to that. Trading Trouba was not the reason we sucked poop for 2+ months. Arguably the most understandable move management has made, tied with claiming Kaliyev

Heres where I find myself in a conundrum with the lines. Trocheck is definitely a 2C and Chytil is showing that he is a 2C as well... however neither is really a 1C which we desperately need.

I think that’s BS. I don’t like any of the finalists. Still think it would be funny if they were the Salt Lake Soakers.
