He doesn't a lot (like once or twice a year) but he can. He 'fought' Jake McCabe last year but it wasn't much of fight and he was outmatched.

He's feisty and will throw hits and answer the bell if needed - I like that.

You are technically correct, which is the best kind of correct.

However, would you prefer your team has trades where it's: bad player in, great player out?

We see bad trades every year. There are 32 GMs. At least one of them is the worst GM in the NHL.

Does that mean it's likely the Leafs get great value? Nope. But the Leafs have lost so many trades, they need to start winning some big trades to make a difference on the playoff ice.

The "garbage" players the Leafs have are not universally garbage. It's situational on what certain teams think they need at the moment. Reaves has been "garbage" for years but he still managed to find a new team time and time again. The same is true about Jarnkrok and Kampf. Another team out there could use them, even if it's a lottery team that intends on filling cap space and losing games for a lottery pick (yes, that happens).

I agree, the odds of Buffalo giving up a former 30 goal scorer is unlikely but then again, ROR, Eichel and Reinhart have Stanley Cups and they weren't in Buffalo. If there's a bad GM out there, take advantage of him if you can.

It's an interweb classic. You just need to sit back and appreciate these things and remember that you probably did this when you were a kid too. Like you probably wanted the Leafs to send Courtnall to the Habs for something ridiculous like John Kordic.

Although ...Cozens at 7.1M for 6 yrs ain't looking too "good". I'm not sure how many teams are eager to jump on to that.
