Yeah, it has for sure. Matheson and Provorov probably look like better options for a team right now. Apparently Oleksiak is available now. Fowler went for peanuts and Id take him over Petts any day. Heck, some teams might actually prefer Gryzlek over Petts with how he has started to play.

If they pulled the trigger earlier in the year I think someone would have done a Petts + 3rd for a 1st. Hopefully we get a 2nd.

I personally like the trade and what it represents. Getting a 1st round pick is nice, another reason to root against the Rangers. If tje Rangers pick is top 13, is it unprotected next season?

I personally wouldnt have traded DOC, I dont think he carries much value in the trade and he's a guy I wouldve kept around.

Glad to see we are embracing the reality of the situation. Start the tank job and regroup in the summer. Hopefully Karlsson is next.
