This is the 2nd time they tried to trade Miller and offers were underwhelming.

Only going to get more difficult to trade with age and the next young soft player he bullies for not being a completely different person on demand(if the narrative is true).

Maybe they are held up on Petey by Aquilini. The foot dragging isn't helpful.

I don't think Miller calling Petey a fat fuck is being a bully. Don calls Lefty that every day.

Other than D & instincts what exactly is EP good at on a consistent basis?

Miller is high risk high reward if it only stayed at that. He makes too many dumb passes compared to the good ones. Creates space & shots. Too lazy on the back check but plays a good shutdown role against the best.

Overall a lil more to give & be smarter.

End of the day, we should get back more than we paid. Not bad in that sense, but we will see I guess.

He's the highest minute forward. Coach must see more than you do obviously.

Highest TOI means squat for 11.6m itā€™s to be expected. Points ā€˜ goals tell the real story. Like to see him shutdown McD or Mac or anyone thatā€™s a true 1C. He doesnā€™t get that role cuz he cannot keep up to any of them &/or he gets out muscled.

You obviously see nothing.

RT is not going to reward Miller with more ice time given how much of a problem he has been. EP has to play a lot due to simple math. Not playing Bleuger & Suter extra minutes.

Is that obvious enough?

The coach doesnt play guys by salary.

Miller is good at shutting down certain players. He's good at getting under McMaggot's skin and off his game. A master at it even. I wouldn't go as far to say Miller shuts down the other team's best player on any given game. You are overplaying that. Often enough this season, Miller shut his own team down and the coach's trust is at an all time low with Miller. Petey has also had shut down games this season. He did it against the Matthews line for one example... head to head and those guys could barely put any pressure together.

Once Miller is gone Hughes will be on an island on the PP. Only other player with skating & skills is Garland to fill in for whatā€™s lost once Miller goes.

Lousy zone entries & perimeter passing is ahead for the PP. The drop pass to sluggy still to come.

Anybody could sit on the right 1/2 boards spending no energy or making any plays on the PP. Take a pass give it back to Hughes any dummy can do.

Look at what Berubeā€™s system has done to the Leafs. No offensive flow & dump ins & PP sucks. RT not any different.

In the end it doesnt matter what, why, or any answer you are going to get to your questions regardless of the available facts contradicting your narratives. You are just going to dismiss anything that doesnt support this never ending Team Miller vs Team Petey that you are obsessed with.

I appreciate tough meaner players but not at the expense of dragging the team down like he has. The baggage is just too much. I'm not one of those idiots who hates players who don't change on demand from the person they have always been. Petey was a great draft pick. Amazing skill... but soft. None the less, they invested in him huge just to have a cancer like Miller go beyond leadership and drive their investment into the ground. He has to go.

Before anyone starts whining about Petey's slump, remember... Miller was doing this long before Petey's production fell off. Using this season as a starting point to support claims about Miller having issues with Petey being overpaid are simply being dishonest. He was bullying the kid 2 years ago when he was 23-24 and playing incredible... while Miller was playing like poop.

Wake the (frank) up people... Miller is a massive issue if you are trying to build a stable team with winning longevity. As we see, it all caught up to the Canucks eventually. We were warned when Miller arrived.

Lets just watch more low event hockey & hope Hughes is superman every game & in the POā€™s. Petey sure isnā€™t going to change any of that.

Has he said anything similar about Pouty? Publicly?

I cannot argue against Miller being unstabilizing factor other than he also comes up huge a lot also.

Heā€™s poison but no forward is better on the team.

No cuz Petey cannot handle the truth.
Miller wants more from him just goes about the wrong way horribly. Maybe the only one with guts to ride his ass?

I think they all rally behind Hughes and upset the Coilers in the playoffs and all this talk will be for nothing šŸ˜†

Nope... and many times he praised Petey's games when people in here were whining about the same games.

Like I said, he doesnt care about salary which silences people if they just pay attention to the games. He has stated that scoring falling off is forgivable... not paying attention to the non negotiables isnt. This is why Miller is the 2nd line C this season.... and sometimes benched.

4 Nations cup weā€™ll see Petey away from all the excuses. That could be an indicator of what he really is.

Is it a Swedish thing or just him?
