Real concern for (some) Canadian teams moving forward: a $113.5 million USD salary cap in 2027-28 equates to $163.2 million spending in Canadian dollars based on today's rate.

How will those teams find a way to significantly generate new revenue to match increase?

Sell high. Can you imagine what his points would be if he was up against the other teams best line.

Damn, I didn't know there was only 1st and 4th lines in the NHL with nothing in between.
- NewYorkNuck

When you average 11:27 there isn't anything in between, you are a 4th liner. I understand math and reality are hard.

Well I guess you're going to have to wait to judge him as a 3 million dollar player until next year, because the reality is he's only making 1.1 this year

Good thing Allvin got that signing out of the way early, he would be getting league minimum otherwise.

Allvin is almost at Benning level for incompetence

News flash!! NHL GM’s don’t have a (frank)ing clue what they’re doing. A fan can manage a club just as well or better. This old “hockey people” know more is bs.

Mac has been said to be hard on team mates about effort. I don’t see the two of them having any issues with each other. Mac is the leader.

I think TOR will survive and maybe Montreal.

I just read someone saying FA doesn't want to trade Boeser because of the playoff revenue he can generate. If Frankie is scraping nickels and dimes then the team might be hooped when the cap is 163 mil CDN.

Even corporations are already cutting back at current prices. One company I used to work for had boxes in Edmonton and Calgary. Now they’re down to having 1/4 share of a box in Calgary and 8 regular seats in Edmonton. It’s unsustainable.

FA is the problem no doubt.
