Millers career is downturning he's 32 on pace for 52 points and needs 15 game 'mental breaks'. We are better off without him getting what we can get. See how the room responds now. - ScotlandVonRickens
Now that I’m in the present & know I missed the news Miller is gone…😂
It’s too bad it came to this but moving on PA did ok to pretty good. Cap space gained is huge. Lets see if the trade gives the team a bump. This also will test Boeser without his main C. On him to prove his true worth & wasn’t riding on Miller’s back.
Anyone know much about Henry Mancini? 🤪 |

That is getting so old & really all that has gone well for him all season. Let’s see what gives now that he is the feature C without Miller helping or hurting. The heat isn’t off with Miller gone it will only get hotter. |

13 of the 15 points were assists which would indicate everyone else felt freed up as well, they relaxed and scored. That’s my take. |

Geez, that dude would fit in great here. I for one think that they’ll continue their turnaround, play like the prez cup winning team and win the cup … cause OEL. |

Might be the case but facts are facts. It's Pettersson's time to shine and get back on track. |

He better step up. The org has backed him as much as they can. Produce as expected, show the team they made the right decision, or his ass is gone by trade deadline.

Not poop, just unreliable. The moment a guy takes a leave like that, no matter substance, spousal, mental health … whatever, it’s gonna plummet any trade value at least for the year. Combine in the reputation, and the affirmation that it’s happening again with this same guy … I’m just glad it’s over and we didn’t have to retain salary. - Sayros
Thinking just that it was the retention that held it up. Wondering what the original offer was if retained. Again so nice to have a ton of cap space to weaponized J don’t recall last time in this position.
Next up Boeser out we can retain to get a better return. We could be a 3rd team using the cap space. Could trade Boeser & take back more cap to get a key piece back. Trade Hog for the same reason. Resign Blankinen likely to happen.
So many ways to slice the cap pie now. |

A guy they got in an LTIR dump
An unsigned NCAA d prospect

Young 6'3" RD prospect with 3 points in 15 NHL games
A protected 1st

I'm a bit worried.. have to admit.
I think you guys get a happy Miller and when Miller is happy, he is a star. But his happiness has a shelf life it appears and a unhappy Miller drags everyone down with him. He doesnt respond well at all to critical media... so there's that as well. If you have wieners in your media, that will put him on tilt if he becomes the focus.
He really was the highest maintenance player I've seen on the Canucks in decades if not ever. |

Lets hope Miller drags NYR down & we get the 1st this year. Idk how the 2026 draft shapes up but if Miller torpedos the locker room epically I could wait lol |

JT Miller was such a toxic player in New York, that New York couldn't wait to reacquire him. Make it make sense. Hate how it came down to this. Petey is going to carry a much bigger burden on his shoulders now and I wouldn't be surprised if he's unable to do so.
This should depress you a little then
