The dirty little pillow biting apathetic b!tches are wetting themselves over the fuel this JTM trade gives them. They love the noise and drama.
As for reality. This deal was supposed to happen with the Rangers a couple Saturdays ago. The change was no retention. So that’s a big difference maker in what management can do with the cap space.
JTM’s bite especially in the playoffs will be missed. Right now it’s his face offs. The thing is we know there is no upside with JTM as compared to who’s coming back. Which is key as Canucks are still trying to build here. So they get upside and some cap room and a 1st to do so.
Oh by the way there is a game on where the Canucks are holding up well against the Stars. |

We got Miller's best 5 years and then moved him for essentially what we paid for him.

Even with them trading Miller, I still see them getting rid of Petey too, just for a fresh start in the locker room. You know that there's definitely still a division with players that were on Miller's side and players who were on Petey's side. Get rid of both then maybe you can get everyone on the same page again. - DariusKnight
Nothing against Swedes but eff it anyways lol
The room & leadership has to support Hughes & follow his lead being the consummate pro. Ethnic background & personal mind sets etc only goes so far any player can put it all out on the ice starting with getting back to total buy in for the coaches. There is a fresh opportunity to excel & no excuses. |

Yes, we tend to waste a players best years. Fun while it lasted. Happy with the return considering the NMC and the personality issues. |

Sense of relief is settling in on me. I really liked Miller too bad he had to be such an a-hole. Boeser sink or swim time. |

I'm doing my best. How about this? The Canucks traded Miller as step 1 of a multi part plan that ends with signing Rantanen this summer - NorthNuck
Oh that is definitely on their radar. You got to like the cap going up. He’s going to cost around 14M and then 16m to QH lol. Then everyone will be saying what a steal EP’s contract is like they were with JTM lol. |

Now that is a big dream sign me up lol
Consolation for me is Marner it would be so sweet to see him in the real blue jersey. Makes the PP click & does PK & the elite playmaking there isn’t much of in the NHL. 13m I can live with & one big piece for Hughes to play with. Of course this is all in my head so lets hear it & slam me. Be gentle pls 😂

For all the crap ppl lay on Garland it is so unwarranted. If he was 6’2” all the clowns would move on to the next whipping boy. His contract he’s earned his worth. |

You're feeling better, how do you think Petey feels? he can start playing video games again. |

It’s a disappointment that it had to happen and then there were not bigger deals out there. But that’s how it goes in season you don’t move a top player for a top return.
More immediate the players pull together and fight for the playoffs.

Asked for a scouting report from someone who played against #Canucks prospect Victor Mancini in college:
“He’s a beast. A good skater for someone his size (6-foot-3, 229 pounds). He’s super physical and makes a good first pass. Bit of a late bloomer.” |

So much for yesterdays comment "you don't trade a star player for a tough guy prospect. |
