If he moves his 30+ yr old players before the deadline, then it makes sense. Briere waited too long to trade Frost and Farabee, needed to be moved over the summer. Torts scratching these dudes did not exactly add to the value. He needs to act quickly with Laughts and Risto.

Yep, feels like they’re giving up way too early on Farabee. I like the kid and a 50 point season from a young forward in this Flyers era is nothing to sneeze at. Pretty disappointing trade.
