First off, I don’t obsess over your opinions. I have even said I agree with them most of the time. What I didn’t like was your way of attacking people, which derailed the blog. I haven’t commented on that in months.

What I think is the fact Vancouver traded the pick right away has no insight into whether or not they “valued” the pick. They could have been high on Marcus Pettersson and that is how they valued him.

For the record, I am happy with this trade. Do I think it solves everything? No. But the team is better today than it was yesterday. And if they make the playoffs it means they were winning games and could make some noise with a hot Shesty.

Truthfully, i would have ran it back from last year and see what Smith would bring and if Zibby would have bounced back.

Now after the trades that have happened and the roster turnover, too many players to integrate to turn it into a contender this year and I doubt next year.
