Nobody negative about this trade has made a good case for that opinion.

We’ve only called you the new Tom about a dozen times this year
- Slimtj100

“We” is just you I think

Also, it should tell you something that this nonsense actually annoys me whereas those wonderful hate filled DMs you sent me years ago did not bother me. Look inward perhaps. Besides brukie, who are you actually disagreeing with about the trade? We can’t talk about normal stuff because you derail it over these nonexistent people that hate Chris Drury unconditionally and want to make you pee pee in your pants with rage. I’m not the one doing that

But in this case, that young player is a ticking time bomb, whose career could end at any second -That’s the major difference here
- Greschnergy#4

I did say Miller was better than Chytil but the choices Drury has made has weaken the team, evident of their record.

Now is this team better than their record or are they as bad as there record?

The question is why are they as bad as their record? Is Miller going to come in and fix everything?

We will see.

Hmmm. They started to play better this year only after Drury made moves though.

You sure I can’t send you the link to google?

If this is really how you feel, how are you upset by a trade that, without a doubt, makes them a better team in nearly every way except for average age?
- Bean_Dip

Because although we got a star player, at the core of it, I dont know if they solved the internal issues that seem to be plaguing the attitude of this team. Miller is apparently known for being very difficult off the ice. So it could go one of two ways... either his attitude will be nuclear or it will provide a singular voice above all others for the team to follow. We will see.

Well they started hot, sucked absolute ass cheeks, started defending like crazy, then regressed to the bad ways for a game and a half. The problem is all the teams around us are racking up points. I’m ok with missing the playoffs if we can’t keep up but now it’s gotta be by enough to push that 1st rounder to next season and then we have to go deep in the playoffs. Also I can’t stress enough how much mika can’t be here next season

I just posted my reason. Its got nothing to do with Miller as a player, as Ive stated numerous times that I do like him as a player. Its the underlying stuff that still concerns me.

Last year when Chytil came back after 6 months and immediately had like a seizure at his first practice everyone was in agreement that he should retire and we could recoup his cap hit per year.

Now we trade him for JT Miller on the same day the NHL essentially said the cap really isn’t a thing anymore

I for one am having a hard time seeing the negative.

If Mika is gone next year we essentially swapped miller for him and I’ll do that all day every day. Same age, same contract but actually buy out-able. And he’s better in every way.

My bad attitude is me not making out with my Chris Drury poster every night. There’s always gotta be some made up group of unreasonable people for him to yell into the void at. I would love to talk about the game. I’ve tried to actually but then I came back 2 hours later and were in the abyss again
