I think some people think miller is the only move that is going to happen. It’s going to take time
- TPC

Yea possibly the case

Smith would get them a 2nd (with retention)

Vesey and Jones separately or together get them a 4th each, maybe a 3rd together. To like a TB as an example

Lindgren probably a second (with retention)

Call up Brannstrom. Call up Othmann. See what happens there. They probably need a LHD via UFA over anything else, for Fox. I think everyone can agree on that lol

Rentals arent a quick fix. Rentals are rentals. Rentals come to already established teams to fill holes and provide help in soft spots.

Bringing in a 31 year old player, who is a superb player, with 5 years left on his contract to a team thats completely falling apart at the seams with the expectation that HE will be the anchor by which the team in 7 months will have a complete turn around is called a quick fix. Call it a "retool" if that soothes your soul and makes you feel better... its an attempted quick fix.

- aecliptic

Just cause you think that doesn’t make you right either. We are all entitled to our opinions. We need to wait till the summer to see the final picture and make more of a judgement

31 isn’t very old for gods sake. He’s got 4 good years before he’s “old”. You guys are ridiculous with this. Kopitar is barely slowing down now, at 37 years old

As Ive said, before. As long as Mika, Kreider and Lindgren find themselves new teams, then maybe we have something to work with.

We should just roll out a 6 man defense of 5'10 defenseman. Set the new standard.

They can survive with Mika and Kreider imo. On the 3rd line tho, like you’ve said for years

The cap lifts are massive for teams, and I reckon no one will benefit from it more then us

In his age 30-31 season miller had his best season of his career of 103 points. He could be like Kreider and gets even better in his 30s

Why would you keep a cancer on the team? You cant move forward if you dont cut out the past. Fresh faces, fresh attitude.

What are you taking about? lol you just said let’s have 6 guys under 6 ft. When 3 of them we have are over all 6 ft

I’ll be the bad guy here, don’t worry. I’ve accepted that role, I’m relishing it

Because every time you bring up Brannstrom, I will make a mockery of it.

Well he did just trade for him this isn’t my decision. And you guys literally everyday say Fox needs a new partner. Hmmm. But I’m crazy 🤷🏻‍♂️

Above 6 ft, yes. But none of them are overly physical, and none of them are 215+. Come playoff time we need crease clearers. Not 175 lb guys that think they can skate through 5 guys in a playoff series.

I’m still irate at these guys that they allowed that RAT to get away with that dirty late hit against Uro and then trying to fight Fox. Where is the team mentality? How the F do u just let that go? BOS put him out for the next draw after he challenged Fox and nothing was done. Pathetic. The entire team should’ve jumped him at the same time. Instead they just skated around for the last minute and a half. Pathetic and disgraceful.

It’s just a tryout for gods sake.

I cannot do this Fox needs a new partner thing anymore…and they get a new LHD, we’ve never seen before, and now we can’t try him with Fox? For a game? You know how ridiculous that sounds orrrrrr move up Urho. That might be even better

Compromise🤔

Urho-Fox
Miller-Borgen
Brannstrom-Schneider

I surrender. Put Lindgren on “roster load” mgmt/healthy scratch him until he’s traded next. I’ll miss Ryan Lindgren. He’s quietly one of my favorite players ever

That might work

I’d go to battle with this team (next season), or see what happens maybe this year

Panarin Miller Laf
(this needs to happen imo)

Cuylle Trocheck Othmann
(Berard/Kaliyev/someone else)

Kreider Zib Perrault
(This could unlock the elusive Stanley Cup)

Big Ed Carrick Rempe
(Leave this alone)

JBrod - 13 th F

Urho-Fox
Miller-Borgen
Brannstrom-Schneider

7th D - FA (big fat guy), or go sign Ivan Provorov. But he seems very unlikely since CBJ is on the rise

Sorry TJ but I think you have a broken brain. I still think the Miller trade was a good decision. But my god the way you rationalize things is beyond reason.

No. Gonna end up calling a repair man but thanks for the help

Google it first. Sometimes its an easy repair. My BIL had the same problem and fixed it himself. He's not very handy in the DIY department either
