Farabee was a great add. Flames have 3-30+ centers, Frost is still young and fills a need.

Ok didn’t know much about Frost so I go look at his stats. He’s got more points than Chytil who the Canucks traded 100 point center JT Miller for. Alvin doesn’t just look like a dimwit, he really is.

As for dimwit this Mgmt team is far better & better built. Took JR to get FA to smell the roses. Past regimes who built rosters handed it over to next regime to reap the glory & leave cupboards empty. JB merely made it worse plugging holes with UFA’s not looking at the long term with picks & prospects properly scouted. Didn’t have a clue about capology & it’s vital importance. Filling the age gap trading picks the worst of all. OEL just a desperate attempt to appease FA.

Fans of the Ottowa Senators booed the song The Star-Spangled Banner – the US national anthem – before a match against US team the Minnesota Wild in Canada last night.

The reaction from the crowd came after the US president unveiled a 25 percent tariff on goods imported from Canada.

Canada responded by slapping its own 25 percent tariff on roughly $106bn worth of US goods.

Wow, Ovechkin with another goal last night, guy is an absolute machine and he's 39 years old. 17 goals to tie Gretzky for the all time lead. 12 points to get to 1600 for his career, only ten players have ever reached that mark.

Oh, I didn't say he sucks, he's EXTREMELY talented, that kid has sick puck skills. I said he's a "useless tit" because he's so soft and he won't go to any of the dirty areas to score goals or for puck retrieval. Perimeter player to a tee. Kids super talented though.

And lets be honest, Chytil is no prize either, he's 25 years old and hasn't asserted himself at the NHL level. But acquiring him is more a product of Allvin's hands being tied and no one wanting to deal with JT's mental state.

I like Raty in a bottom six role, he's good on faceoffs and responsible defensively, good contract too, RFA next season though, plus he's only 22 years old. Seems like he's been around longer but he's still young. If he wants to stay in the NHL he's going to have to embrace that role.

I guess we'll have to see what Chytil can bring in a top six center role, I'll be cheering him on, he's very talented, but expectations are blah...
