You cannot blame a player for wanting to get the best deal for himself and his family. The other thing to keep in mind is that he has only been in Carolina for a month. Not a lot of time to determine a lift decision.

Actually, North Carolina does have a state income tax and a state sales tax.

But your point is well-taken.

Isles have six games between now and the trade deadline. If they happen to to go 4-2, they’ll have 65 points and likely very close to being in a playoff spot. If that’s the case, I have a bad feeling Lou will hold tight, instead of moving players for futures, and maybe even add if that’s that case.

What are the chances they're going to change their own call? And if player safety looks at it and finds no reason to fine or suspend Cizikas, what are the repercussions? We get a loss and the refs go on with their lives? The whole process is stupid.
