If you're pissed about the Cizikas call you'll be livid when you see the hit that Zegras threw that wasn't called. |

It's a borderline call for a minor or major hence major maybe. Match is dumb seemed like chest to chin |

There's just no way I can see that as a penalty.
I guess we'll see what Parros' take is. Primary contact is to the chest and then his chin. |

Agreed. I don't see how it was a penalty, let alone a major.

I didn't like the call either but he did get his head and I thought the initial contact was his chest. Bishsel didn't return either, tough call i thought minor after review and they went match |

I know you officiate at a high level. To me at full speed it could be close. But the replays that they showed seemed like shoulder to chest. |

Didn’t watch the game. Tough penalty on Zeeker. A lot of chatter about it on line.
One thing is I need your address Keaner so I can send you a signed Matfield jersey |

There's so many nuances to the rules in this situation. Still, at 6'7", Bichsel completely offers his chin to any contact with a player who is a good 8" shorter. The contact initially is all chest and slides to the chin.
There's so much irony to this, considering the reverse check to George's head that went upenalized and resulted in a concussion. Then there's Zegras' hit today.....

Lost in all of this, Mayfield again missed his man on goal four. That's two goals he was directly responsible for tonight. - keaner17
Let’s hope the Nelson and Palmieri extension isn’t as terrible as the mayfield one.
It will be. |

Regardless of what happens this trade deadline or season, what do you think the plan is as far as Lou Lam managing this team? At 83, we can all agree that father time is not on his side. Surely the ownership has a plan B not named Chris Lamoriello, who’s only job references on his resume include his dad. |

I’ll say what I always say. Lou is going to leave how and when he wants. He’s free to (frank) stuff up along the way. I would say more likely than not his son, who has done crap btw, will more than likely takeover his job when leaves. |

 Good point
On the other hand, if he had stepped out of the crease a second sooner, I think there's a fair chance the puck goes in anyway, and they allow the goal. But woulda, coulda, shoulda.... |

Extremely weak call imho. To me in no way was that goalie interference. Crazy that they saw it the other way |

I think we're at the point that scoring plays should be handled like in football. Every goal is reviewed. The vast majority are very obvious and would take a second or two to verify. The rare questionable ones like that one should be looked at more closely. |

According to this site, they only have a 14% chance of making the playoffs. As many have said, it's time to trade, at a minimum, the guys on expiring contracts; i.e., Nelson and Palmieri. |

Scott Mayfield will be a healthy scratch tonight vs. #NYR.
Noah Dobson (LTIR) close but won’t play.
Adam Boqvist draws back in.
