So you don't think the Isles can score 2 PP goals in the same game?

The Isles have played admirably tonight but that was a pathetic six on four |

Give them credit for competing.
Lousey 1st killed them.
Hopefully Barzal comes back quickly. |

They came back from that deficit though, and the late 2nd period goals were the backbreaker.

You could clearly see they were a tired team during the final 10 minutes. Overall, I don't have a problem with this loss. This essentially was a one goal game that the Isles often carried the play in |

Yeah but if they come out and play from the first drop they don’t have to come back from a 2 goal deficit. Spotted them 2 goals. Ridiculous.
Looked gassed in the 3rd and The Hog better get back soon. This guy flops more than JD!!! |

Yes, a tired team and also a deflated one after giving up the power play goal with a little over 10 minutes left. Losing to the defending champs without so many key players, and playing the back up to the back up to the back up goalie.......not the end of the season. But they need to start another winning streak fast, if they want to make the playoffs. |

Trade Dobson, Pulock, JG and Palms, consider it a soft rebuild and gather picks and prospects. ROY wants a certain type of player and is proving the team will be better under his system with certain guys. I think Nelson comes down to the last minute before the deadline. I do not see him taking a discount or a short term contract. If he goes, at least we will get a haul for him. |

Seemed pretty likely they were going to lose last night given the fact that Skarek isn't even a good AHL goalie, but man did I think they may pull it off while I was watching that second period |

No shame in losing last night. Sharek has not worked out at all.

Obviously out indefinitely can mean anything, but if Barzals injury is long term I can see Lou making a somewhat major trade to add scoring in barzals absence. |

It usually only means long-term, otherwise he'd be day-to-day/week-to-week...whatever
I'm not so sure the big trade won't eventually be Lou selling, not buying. Cap gets real tricky unless Barzal is out for the remainder of the regular season. They can create space by putting him on LTIR but if he comes back during the season then they won't be able to get cap compliant. Maybe we see another minor trade or a waiver claim for a body, unless he's buying and selling and is able to balance the books. |

Possibly somewhere between a deep bone bruise and a hairline kneecap fracture. Obviously massive speculation but the later might mean 'done for the season'.
Given the response I would gamble on the bone bruise which, if it is the knee, will take several weeks to a few months. Just because he's not on the IR doesn't mean he won't be. I'd expect them to place him there soon |

What a crazy year. Team was looking dead and then 7 wins and now more injuries. Cannot imagine a big acquisition at this point and more likely the team will be sellers. |

There is a rumor out there that Barzal is complaining about our attendance and that UBS sucks. |
