I think it was the beginning of last season before all the Zegras injuries. As far as York, I still do not believe York, Andrae, or Drysdale will be here long term. York is an RFA this summer, doubt his agent is interested in another bridge deal with cap rising significantly over the next few seasons. Pretty sure his agent will want a better contract then the Sanheim extension. All those factors make me wonder if York would be included in a trade to acquire a center. - Trox88

It's possible and if they want to extend York for somewhere 8 yrs @ 8 million/yr then that would not be surprising. That is strictly my guess with the cap increasing and % of cap for cap hits readjusted. That would leave Andrae and Drysdale as tradeable assets. I do believe the organization believes Bonk and Gill will have spot in the top 6 over the next 2-3 seasons. Also, McDonald and Grans are much closer then those two to potentially secure top 6 roles. In the end, I feel someone from the blueline is getting moved by the draft. Just my opinion. - Trox88 .
Yea i agree but i think it's more then 1, my personal guess is 2 defenseman out by then

Also, Sanheim can go back to playing on the left side when moving one or both of York and Andrae. I do think Sanheim is here for the long term with his contract. Hopefully, in the upcoming years he slots more into a 2nd pair role and gets pushed down.
I just think this summer, they will be acquiring a center besides the draft. I don't think it will be Cozens. Could be Petterssen if Vancouver blows things up. Petterssen will have no problem playing in Philly. Vancouver is equally a passionate fan base. McTavish makes sense if ANA wants to try and bridge him and he wants to get paid. All speculation on my part.

You do know why right? B/c he told teams he was not going to play for them and the other was b/c of the whole Russia geopolitical stuff. He literally fell into their laps.

Andrae has no value yet. Moving him now wouldn’t bring back anything.
Depending on who does and does not get fired after the season, Buffalo Anaheim and Detroit are going to be the teams most desperate to do something this offseason. The Flyers would have opportunities there if they wanted to. |

Thing is what do the Flyers have to offer those teams?
Can’t imagine Adam’s in Buffalo lasting though Pegula is a clown. |

Assuming they are keeping everyone they mentioned in the letter it’s only Tippett and Drysdale. Those guys coupled with some picks have a lot of value even though Flyers fans don’t think so. Bonk too. I am sure they would listen on York for the right player even though he was mentioned.
It would be great if Buffalo kept Adams because they are supposedly listening on Owen Power too with Byram needing to be resigned. |

I do not think those 2 have a lot of value at all. Better off keeping JD to see what happens as rather take that chance instead of another 2rd pick or project player.
Would have no issue moving Tippet just to get that contract off the books. |

Filip Chytil was the centerpiece of the JT Miller trade and he broke 25 points in a season once. Alex Tuch was arguably the big piece in the Eichel trade. Tippett can get the Flyers something good if they are willing to move him. |

Unless you think Chytil and Tuch are significantly better than Tippett I don’t understand what point you are trying to make. |

True. I am not talking about the Flyers receiving a package for Tippett. I said Tippett in a package for someone. Tippett by himself isn’t getting anyone of significance. |
