Hartman 10 games for his cheap shot on Stützle.

I’ve been pumping for Marner for a few days. Plays in all situations & an elite playmaker something we really need.

Rantanen no probs my 1st choice just like Marner too difficult to guess he’d sign here. Both will get paid Rantanen with the Canes my best guess.

As for a C Tavares for a stop gap?

Willander likely to ready & paying for Ekblad will block him for a long time. I think the D is done tbh.

I don't think I'd pay marner or raantanen. I'm ok with a JT stop gap forsure and I do agree on de. Amazing what one top 4 dman can do. I think it's just time to let the kids start to play use the cap space for short term deals and asset collection

He’s a POS a total loose cannon. No place in the NHL for players like him. Minny should put him on waivers if they have any respect for the game.

It’s been so long since we had a good top 4 it was overdue & wasn’t easy. Big misses on 1st picks really started it all. Picking Willander & RePetey was a big step forward & sorely needed. Still have Mynio & Kudryatsev & Mancini to develop. Adding MP made the long term outlook much better for many years.

On paying either Marner or Rantanen I hearya but with 11.6m for EP & Hughes gigantic deal to come I think it can be fit in under the cap. Debrusk is locked up MP should be soon enough. Plenty of cap space to use & will come down to allocation. I’m luvin all that cap & more is to come these next 3 years. Very important time to get it right.

The retool might have many fans looking optimistic. Next dominos will define this regime & the long time future. For once we are sitting in the cat bird seat with so many ways to choose which way to go from here.

The media should be talking this up much more & stop the digging for dirt on the players etc.

A massive change that I believe is going to occur is teams no longer spending to the cap or even close to it because they can't afford it. Some Canadian teams will be in massive trouble forsure. Some American teams just won't be able to afford it as it slowly creeps back to the way it was pre hard cap with the haves and the have nots

Some teams that don’t spend to the ceiling will likely continue that. With the cap catching up from being smothered from the covid effect the revenues are getting back in line towards normalcy. Growth was inevitable & teams adjust to it. It’s not charity out there it’s spend to win or don’t spend.

I agree. That would be a Canucks first moment for the Captain. He needs some mending and rest. They will play the (frank) out of him in the tourney and give him back completely broken.

Players want to play for their country in non Olympic years. An honour to play & bragging rights is on the line.

The other guy is just as retarded. This site really needs a Mute/Block button. I think I read only 2 of the 16 pages on here today.

Was bored and watched the AHL Allstar game tonight. I didn't realize DiPietro was having such a stellar season. Good on the kid.

A name from the past.

Canucks don't give many updates ( why should they?) on former AHL players so it is hard to follow. Good on Rocky Jr (Michael).

They aren't obligated. I just saw him playing and looked up his stats to see how he was doing. Very impressive numbers.

I thought there was another big trade again with all these pages. Well the scroll and skip had a good workout on all the trade scenarios and reasons why they need to make more trades now.

Anyway, believe there is a game against the Avs. Interesting who will be in the line up and what the lines and D pairings will be.

2025 NHL Trade Deadline March 7.

Not sure if we're gonna see a lot more movement from the Canucks but here's a few guys who should be moving on.

Boeser - pending UFA.
Suter - pending UFA.
Forbort - pending UFA.
Juulsen - pending UFA.
PDG - pending UFA.

Petey - we all know the reasons.

I think Raty and Sasson are ready for bottom six roles with the big club, which potentially also makes Blueger a trade target.

I watched the Sens vs Preds game last night, the Sens have a bit of bite to their game, I like it. They're only two points behind the Leafs now.

He cleared, he's in Abby now, I believe. But he can still be traded.
