That’s one my favorite movies ever. To no one’s surprise

There are a lot of contenders who don’t have first rd picks. This TDL could be a dud

Think the big deals will come prior to the 4NFO.

I think separately smith and Lindgren could get 2nd rders with retention. So put them together maybe they get a 1st🤷🏻‍♂️

Smith is underrated for a contender. He is a winning player

- Slimtj100

I agree both could net 2nd rounders with salary retained...a first is pushing it even with both combined. Key, though, could get you that 1st rounder with salary retained.

So dumb. These players have nothing to do with this political war crap. What's a world tourney and Olympic games without Russia. Call them the Unified team again (or whatever they were called not too long ago in the Olympics).

I was all aboard trading Keandre, but not anymore. They need to keep him. He’s been a big reason why they’ve played better since new years

I think if the rangers got 2 second rders in trade for them people would actually praise Drury for once lol a first is definitely pushing it, BUT maybe they sweeten it with sending a pick back the other way. Ie-4th or 5th

For some reason, I always pictured Dundee as Abe Simpson.

I think you’re undervaluing them. I think a lot of teams probably would love to add 2 vets with playoff experience.

We paid a 2nd and 4th for Wennberg.
1st 2nd 5th for Copp

Etc

U don’t think Smith and Lindgren combined couldn’t get a 1st? Come on.

Retention would be the key in that trade. Because affording I think around 8 million? Is a lot to ask for. But 4 million is doable for a team. The problem like I said before is not many contenders have first rders. I guess next years would be possible

But two players like that, to a team like Winnipeg, could put them over the top so it’s not one of my crazier ideas. And we have history with Winnipeg

In the NHL, you never know what a GM will pay to obtain a player. I just don't see a GM coughing up a 1st, but you never know what a bidding war may cause.

Vancouver is happy with Marcus Petterson, but that seemed like a lot to trade for him.

But I think here on HB, more then anywhere on earth lol, NHL first rders are very overrated

And I’m not convinced Rangers trade Lindgren at all (if they are in the running for a WC) which would make this place a nuthouse of epic proportions

The crux of the main topic of debate, Rangersaver in this particular instance, that you have brought up in discussion today is effectively less that his posts were overarchingly significantly longer than the length required to convey one's point in a simple, yet generally concise manner but more so that it seemed to be clearly most apparent that his personal modus operandi of thought was that by writing long-winded, drawn-out posts with verbiage clearly recently-derived from a thesaurus that those whom he believed to be the audience of such posts would hold him in higher regard than the collective proletariat of whom compromise the majority of the consumers of Eklund's Hockeybuzz™ internet website hosted by Amazon Web Services™.
