I think most fan's feel that way, tired of the drama. Play an honest hockey game. Everyone is watching. - VanHockeyGuy
I definitely am. Effort is the easiest thing to control and see. I'm OK with guys that try hard every time they hit they hit the ice. I think most people are. |

You believe people care what you think??? Thatβs cute.

You are just a random wannabe troll and may I add not a very good one because I still

I don't see a sense of urgency from him.

I'd have to feel that if fans didn't read the media, or go to message boards all day long... the drama wouldn't be as big of an issue to them. The vast majority of it is by fans for fans. Not like the Canucks are airing Real Workwives of Rogers Arena.
If people are tired of the drama, don't go to HB and talk/read about/contribute to the drama all day long? |

So sweep it under the carpet and it will go away?
The drama works both ways. There is equally as much drama from both sides of the coin.
The drama will go away when the player involved starts playing to the level of his contract.

Nobody's suggesting to sweep it under the carpet... because there's nothing really to sweep under the carpet.
What exact drama is happening right now? A star player is struggling hard and isn't living up to his contract at the moment? The drama coming from the organization is zero, all the drama is being fostered in here. Someone underperforming isn't really drama. |

Correct π―! Remember there's a bunch of people here that will vehemently defend EP116 right or wrong. Just how it is when you're emotionally attached to a team.

Did you not hear JR's speech last week. Did you not hear PA say yes the door is open for a Pettersson trade. Did Tochett not say EP40 need to be better.
That is not fan generated. Everyone and their brother knows there there was a divide in the room including all the players.
This is not made up stuff, there are real negative issues. They cleared up half the problem now get rid of the rest of the problems.
If Petey is moved I sure as hell wont miss his 45 point production. He is invisible most games.

Well by that metric they care about my posts too. Many, including you, respond to my posts day after day.

Trade him at the draft for a top 5 pick. |

People that are sick of it in here come from both sides of the argument and are discussing it rationally in other threads. This poop in here is just off the wall. You have a couple of habitual liars leading the way by making poop up all day in here with a couple of brainless cheerleaders behind them and one OCD character that is unbearable 90% of the time he is posting. Meanwhile, d!ckweeds like you keep assigning opinions to people to make it look like they are doing the same even when they are not defending Petey, but searching for a rational approach to the problem instead of this "trade him for a 4rth" hysteria. |

I don't think he would get a top 10 TBH.
That is a lot of money for a player struggling.
I just looked up his stats He has only got over 70 points twice in his seven years.

The change to the core is more important than the return right now. Get another C and move on.

On the ice they look like a happier group since the trade. |

4-1-1 last 6, keep it going. It could very easily be a 6 game winning streak. They look more like a team and happier. |

I like JR/PA they're gunslingers π
They have more balls than most of the team.

I think the fan generated drama comes from the concistency and amount of posting/posters - on and on about trading him. It's so loud and frequent and the more patient fans are starting to lash out.
Even the most die hard Petey fan will admit he's not playing well, everyone can see it, no one is happy about it dude. slurper or hater. no ones happy. The difference is some are willing to wait it out a little longer bcus they know that he'll break out of this funk and then go on a fawking tear for 2 months where he's laser focused, and winning us games regularly. He's done it many times before, but no ones liking this slump he's in - no one should deny it, it's happening. But man, when he's locked in, he goes on LONG streaks and they win a lot of games.
Besides the lack of points - He's playing really well actually, just more so in the D-zone - he's still generating a lot of scoring chances, but not getting much help from wingers and admittedly NOT SHOOTING ENOUGH. The points will come.

100%
He's not playing as well as he can, he knows it, coach knows it, mgmt knows it and fan's know it.
That's not drama.
Considering trades does not equal drama, it's the bare minimum you'd expect from a GM.

I'm going with patience.
See how the season plays out and make a decision following.
I have faith in Chef Alvin making the right call.
