Please dont give me that crap. No one thought Konecny was a PPG player. People thought he was good sure but nowhere near the level hes playing at now.
People have been crying all year about how you cant get elite talent at 14th overall but now that Konecny is elite and it goes against the narrative now you all of a sudden can and its expected... Give me a break - xShoot4WarAmpsx
Not for nothing but Konecny had 61 pts in 66 games in 2019 playing 16 min/game. 2022 Cam Atkinson goes out for the year without ever playing a game and TK get's bumped to the 1st line and 20 min/game. Give a guy who had .92 pt/gm season an extra 25% of ice time and well I would expect him to score a few points in those extra minutes. Seems more right place, right time than anything else.
It's similar to the Panarin myth, the narrative put out by Torts truthers is that he transformed Panarin but he didn't. Konecny really seems like a natural progression of scoring a few more points with more ice time. I'm not seeing this amazing difference. Atkinson stays healthy in 2022 and Konecny is a 2nd liner playing 16 min/night.

-Marek talks about how coaches and GMs are getting younger than they were years ago. Danny says there is a trend there, but he is excited to be surrounded by Jonesy, Bob Murray, and Dean Lombardi who have experience, along with Clarke, Holmgren, and Barber.

-Michkov is going wonderfully. The reality is it's a tough league and not used to playing 82 NHL games. So happy he came over early and to work with the Flyers coaching staff. He works hard, blocks shots, backchecks hard. The future is so bright for him.
lol thank goodness he blocks shots! Wtf?
Jett Luchanko is going to decide if he slots in next season. Danny says he probably deserved to stay in the lineup this year, but the team wanted to give him a chance to go back to junior. It will probably be a tough decision next year with a longer look
The Room Jr a lock next year - StepfordSam
Focus on actions not talk. Not sure why you cant trust talk when its something positive but you can if negative. Flyers PR Spin. Whats Briere supposed to say? We need to clear out all these old farts, especially the ones that decide whether or not I have a job?
Wait and see what they do. Luchenko probably shouldnt make the team unless hes lights out in camp

Why even mention them? Clearly they are still involved to some extent would venture to guess. |

Why would they hold Jett to a higher standard next year than they did this year? After having him make the team this year, this puff piece, and Frost gone, what makes you think him being ready factors at all into this?
You think DB and Torts want to be answering questions about a player they've already declared NHL ready and a born flyer? |

It is fascinating how consistently bad the Flyers PP has been all season, Couts cannot get any PP time. They do not have a net front presence, can't he do that job and try to win a faceoff. Rocky knows best. |

So Michkov leaves the defensive zone early and good things happen, who knew. |

Dude, re-read my comment. I was talking about York and Ersson which your original post mentioned. Nowhere did I mention konecny. |

Flyers without Frost, Farabee, Tippett, and Poehling and really don’t look much different. |

NO Torts. The offense is awful and the defense is worse. Third worst in goals allowed and he is supposed to be a defensive coach. Get some TALENT up front and get an offensive-minded guy like Bruce Boudreau in there to turn it around. |
