Seems about right.

Kids use to only hear dumb poop others kids said.

Now they have access to all kinds of dumb poop everyone said. And the kids can point to it and say look, this dumb poop is real.

We are getting to the point where truth does not matter, and opinions are the only facts that matter.

how old do you have to be before it's socially acceptable to call someone in their 40s a "kid"

are we talking 80 years old or?

Most of us around here are closer to death than we'd care to admit.

Then there is Pat, not by age, but by drug use.

Pat Smear was a founding member.

I enjoy punk, but...

My review starts with: This is an unintelligible jumble of raw, scornful, intense, fast-paced, hardcore punk.

And ends with: And somehow, amidst all the chaos, it's also kind of bland.

I just do not need someone incoherently screaming at me and not understanding why, I can get that from the gf at home.

considering they started out rather early in the punk rock scene in 1976 and have influenced many other bands after, I wouldn't describe their sound as being "bland", but I do understand your take, especially since you probably aren't a big fan of that genre to begin with...

did you still listen to the whole album? lol

I'm kinda like Mr. Burns and his germs, but with large quantities of different drugs in my system that all balance out each other. it's surprisingly a very healthy and solid ecosystem when maintained properly.

Yup, once you see these guys for what they are, which is good bottom 6 players, you really appreciate them every game.

Granted they're still overpaid but their salary currently doesn't matter so who cares?

- Scabeh

We need them to each score at least 20 goals each season. That said MB did well in getting Suzuki and Caufield

Yeah, I listened to it 3 times.

I get the sound. I get the rawness of it. I even get that most of the songs are somewhat similar, other than perhaps pace.

Just not sure what they are singing about, as I can barely understand 1 out of every 4 words (at best).

And to me, that just kind of adds to the repetitiveness / lack of differentiation of the songs, which kinda makes it bland for me, in spite of the choas.

woah, really? I was not expecting that answer... well you can definitely say you gave it a serious listen then lol.

for the lyrics I get that it can just sound like incoherent gibberish but sometimes in situations like that it's nice to look up the lyrics while listening to a song, gives you a better idea of the vibe they're going for imho.

it's what I usually do with death metal bands and genres like that, where the vocals are so messed up it's almost impossible for me to decipher by ear... with the lyrics you can actually tell what words are being pronounced lol.

Among those expected in tonight's sellout crowd at Bell Centre: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and former Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price, who was 16-0 in his career when playing for Team Canada 🇨🇦

I get that, especially if you listen to a lot of music with lyrics that are hard to understand.

That is just not really in my regular wheelhouse.

I guess part of what drew me to this thing was to listen to more music outside my regular / comfort zone. While I may not like some of it, I can still appreciate it for what it is.
