Good morning free independent state of southern New Jersey-stan.

It is nice, super bright (with the sun reflecting off all that new clean white snow), yet cold, here today.

Went out for a short walk to see how the clean-up is going.

Not very fast.

It's colder in absolute degrees today but the winds have died down so the walk with the dog was slightly less painful this morning, also days are getting longer so it's not pitchblack in the morning it's nice.

i stayed home sick again. nothing major.

it looks cold out there though.

if pat was still with us he'd be so mad. remember that 17" storm we were getting? they reduced it to 3-5". now they say 0". it's not even happening!

Yeah, I think the sun / all the snow is helping the days feel a little longer too. Was not completely dark by 6pm last night, so that was a nice change.

But the earlier sunrise has my cat constantly poking me in the head earlier in the morning for breakfast.
