We must of seen each other around. I stood out... tank top, tats, black ninja pants and nip slips(black slippers with plastic soles)... sometimes steel cap Doc Martin shoes. Hot redhead always in short skirt and fishnets on my arm. Often being shook down by the pigs around that 7-11...
If you knew any punks and skins back then, they knew me without a doubt. I have a unique first name that the scene knew coast to coast. Didn't work to well with slipping the cops tho.... specially that fkn canadian flag tat on my hand. Got me busted multiple times. - boonerbuck
That's a trade to show how petey to be a pro. So sad

If they paid that repeat if thatās a heavy all in move. Blows up the future with a bare cupboard on one hand. On the other hand idk if there is a better PO performer than Sid even at his age. Leadership off the charts. Top 6 C on a bad day. Doubt he wouldnāt want to retire a Pen but if he thought bringing a cup to Canada only thing not on his resume would do it then maybe. He did score the golden goal here. He can handle any pressure & the media.
Then I woke upā¦

MONTREAL ā Elias Pettersson hopes that playing in the 4 Nations Face-Off with Tre Kronor will give him a boost.
"I always try to see things positively, and in the last game with Vancouver... we have three straight wins and have found our game as a team. But playing with Sweden now is going to be insanely fun. I'm looking forward to it," he told NHL.com/sv.
The Vancouver Canucks center hasnāt had a smooth season after entering the first year of his eight-year, $11.6 million contract, which began last fall. In 49 games, the 26-year-old has recorded 11 goals and 23 assists for a total of 34 points.
"Of course, thereās pressure. Iām very happy with the contract I got, but with it comes expectations and performance pressure. I donāt think Iāve fully lived up to it, but what Iāve done up until now is done. Iām just trying to look ahead, and I know what kind of hockey I have in me. Thatās what Iām focusing on," Pettersson said.
Trade Rumors and Media Noise
Throughout the season, there have been reports of a rift between him and former teammate J.T. Miller (now with the New York Rangers), which has also led to trade rumors surrounding Pettersson.
"It hasnāt been the best season. Thereās been a lot of ānoiseā in the media. But I just try to control what I can," said Pettersson, who also mentioned that he has deleted social media to focus entirely on hockey.
Gradually, however, Pettersson has been finding his game. After contributing an assist and taking a step forward in Canucksā last game before the 4 Nations break, he heads into the tournament with a good feeling.
"It was a very strong performance from us, and Iām very happy with how I played in that game. Now I just want to build on that," Pettersson said.
Looking to Reignite His Potential
Over the past few seasons, Pettersson has been a top player for the Canucks. He posted 102 points (39+63) in 80 games during the 2022-23 season and followed up with 89 points (34+55) in 82 games last season. The potential is there. Now, itās just about unlocking it again, and the 4 Nations Face-Off presents a perfect opportunity.
"Iāve never experienced a tournament like this with so many top players and all the talent Sweden has to offer. Itās about understanding each other," Pettersson said.
During Tre Kronorās first practice in Montreal, where the team gathered on Sunday, Pettersson was paired with Filip Forsberg and Adrian Kempe on one of Swedenās top two lines. He will have a key offensive role.
"Kempe is a fast player, he makes things happen on the ice, a goal scorer. Forsberg is another goal scorer, full of finesse and skill," he said, describing his linemates.
The trio will have two practices before the tournament begins. Sweden opens the competition in Montreal on Wednesday night (Swedish time) against Canada at Bell Centre.
"Weāll figure it out. Good players find chemistry quickly. The more puck possession we have, the more weāll find each other. Iām confident it will work out."
"Itās the first time weāre playing together. My job is to get them the puck, set them up with speed through the neutral zone. We all think the same way and understand each other. Iām really excited to play with them."
Coach Wants Pettersson to Play Freely
Swedenās head coach, Sam Hallam, wants Pettersson to let loose and not overthink things during the three group-stage games against Canada, Finland, and the USA.
"Heās a 100-point player in the league and an exceptional talent. I think he has proven over time that heās an incredible offensive threat, both with his vision and his shot. I hope he comes in here feeling secure, with full support from the coaching staff and teammates, and that he can flourish. Iām sure he has a bit of a chip on his shoulder. Itās been a tough season off the ice. But the season isnāt over yet, and if he leaves here with a good feeling, he can hopefully carry that into Vancouver for the rest of the year," said Hallam.
The 4 Nations Face-Off takes place from February 12-20, starting in Montreal and concluding with the final in Boston. Now, Elias Pettersson is focused on competing among the very best.
"All four teams can beat each other. Every country has great players. All three games will be close. I donāt think we should listen to what others say. I believe we can win every game. That being said, itās going to be tough to beat every team, but weāre going to give it our all," Pettersson concluded.

Such a dilemma lol
Strange that I can chase everyone away after those same ppl chased others away for years. Oh the irony. Too rich lol
One way or another Iāve enjoyed your contributions in here. I wonāt miss all the other topics under the sun in here. Sure I go overboard I can be honest on that but I stick to hockey a lot more than most here something next to none of them can admit to.

Petey interview from NHL.com translated over: - NewYorkNuck
I think the Sedins have an undue influence on Canucks players overpassing and trying to be too fancy. I like that the coach has asked the Swedish players not to overthink things...
hopefully Petey can comeback recharged and confident in a game style that stops him from overthinking his game.
