So the latest talk from the hockey world about the Canucks is shifting from selling on EP40 to adding a forward by the TDL. One that will add offense to the top line either directly or by support to the other ones.

Some interesting names out there Mcann, Shenn and ROR. My guess is it might be a series of moves depending what they do with their UFA’s.

There is lots of TDL cap space for the Canucks. Winning makes all the difference on decisions.

Petey looking quick out there:

https://x.com/Canucks/status/1889716979411398854

“Elite player,” said Kempe of Elias Pettersson, who has practiced with the Vancouver Canucks center and Nashville Predators winger Filip Forsberg. “Speed. Skill. He can shoot. He can pass. Everything. Petey’s going to be a good complement for both of us.

“He’s a solid centerman with high-end skill. He can make plays. Can score goals too.”

Playing with more skilled players can't hurt.
Hopefully he finds his confidence and get's that shot back.

I get a kick out of when I read he is with better players. My question is always WTF don't Canucks have better players then?

Really? That’s how you see it? Different kind of pressure, no? It’s a bs tourney that most players who are going think it’s going to be “fun”.

I thought RT was counting on it. Didn’t he say he was hoping that the tournament would rejuvenate Pouty?

Canucks under this mgmt has had PDG Garland Suter Joshua Karlsson Hoglander playing on the top line. Hard to figure out why they struggle at times. That sounds like a HOF line up to me

What the heck, I was told that #40 was the #1 centre for Sweden, looks like Zibanejad is the #1 centre.

That PP is deadly for Canada. Best in the tournament.

Serves Swedes right for not starting their top C.

Yeah but Podkolzin plays for a disgusting franchise with a GM that was complicit in multiple sexual assaults.
