Lank has been praising goalie coach Marko Torenius all year.

One area I have total faith is our goalie development. We have some decent prospects in Tolopilo, Koskenvuo, Young. Not sure if Silovs is gonna turn it around and get some consistency in his game? But he has proven he can be a solid goalie - hopegully it wasn't a once-off.

OR acquiring another backup hasn't been an issue.

I believe they've been going pretty much 50/50, swapping goalies almost every game

Team has solid goaltending, no problems with cap, Low goals against lately, winning games and what do the clowns in here want to do? Trade one of the goaltenders. I guess having solid goaltending half the time is better than having it all the time.

I was at both games here in MTL and in my opinion Pettersson showed an awful lot of skill and while it's not a cornerstone of his game he did show a good compete level "most" of the time. He was clearly one of the higher skilled players on the ice though and commanded attention. On the other hand, in the USA v FINLAND game JT Miller was a plug. He has a very high compete level but he was just running around, not really holding position, late hits, chippy little crosschecks and slashes to players not looking at him after the play had left, losing composure on the bench, etc. He just sort of looked like an a-hole. lol

I think you guys definitely traded the right guy. In watching 4 teams with super-elite talent, which Miller gets paid as such, he is just not one of those guys.

I'd hang on to Pettersson and I think things will turn around for him a lot in VAN. he looked just fine.

I don’t know what happened lately but in my short and occasional time here it’s no surprise. This is the only hockey site on the internet where lunacy is the norm not the exception. That’s saying something about sports sites where hysteric hyperbole is common.
