Bunch of pansies. Petey looks like he’s scared of Miller.

Miller had a great game 🙏.

Hopefully the Americans are banged up Thursday. Entertaining game

More hockey apologize in advance…

Sucks when the Swedes goal posts have a better SV% than your Canadian boy Binnington

He was benched in the 3rd. The Canucks have a serious problem on their hands

Yes they do. A 2 week rest from hockey woulda been the better option.

Billy Bean comes to mind

Meh.
i'm not getting hysterical about it like some of ya'll.
Players have bad years and bounce back (PLD, Eichel, Kopitar, etc).

This year seems to be a write off tho. Which sucks.
I'm optimistic he'll recover and think we'll regret it if he's moved for pennies on the dollar.

Free pass for $11.6m? As for pennies on the dollar that cap space comes in handy. As for optimism sure if he has a good offseason training routine. Til then at least use these 30 games left in season to show a reason for optimism. Come the PO’s which I’m optimistic about is even a better time to wake up.

Edit

EP got the RT Hoglander treatment from team Swedens coach. That says tons on its own.

I mean they could regret it but they can also regret it more if doesn’t improve significantly and his NMC quicks in. It’s a gamble either way and hopefully management makes the right move.
Personally, I dont think he ever lives up to the contract and he will continue to struggle in an annoying Canadian market. A move to a smaller, US market may help him

2 of those 3 you mentioned, got traded before coming around. Trading #40 is the best and safest move for Canucks, provided they don't have to retain too much.

Buffalo is in such disarray they need to make big moves. Deep in assets & nothing to lose. Stuck in mud forever.

lol, you do need them, but Don isn’t a guy known for being rational on any level, you two are like kindred spirits of sorts.

I don’t think they need to retain anything, Pettersson will probably be moved prior to his no move kicking in, I think Alvin is well aware that Pettersson is struggling and the Vancouver fan base are a bunch of emo reactionaries so he will do whatever is needed for the club like trading the major cancer.

Not sure any gm is taking a gamble on that contract without some retention, but you may be right, the Canucks may have to take a cap dump instead.
At the current rate, the Canucks might get Dylan Cozens, but more realistically would be Nick Cousins

That’s a good way to put it. I might come off real bad on EP but I decided after his slow start to move on. I do think he would do better if moved. Sure down another top 6C but a key piece coming back needs to be a C. Young preferred. If not then a good package & flip for a C. Something PA likes to do not holding pat after big trades.

Somebody like Oliver Moore Hawks or Leo Carlsson Ducks or D Nelson NYI or Logan Cooley Utah or Will Smith SJ or along those lines. Idk others may have better targets. I’d want back 3 pieces for EP.

and both Buffalo and LAK regret making that move now.
