Nothing I can say will change your mind because you think a line of plugs is legitimately necessary to win hockey games. I’ll take the team with 18 star skaters and the best goalie a nation has to offer. The talent overwhelms regardless of familiarity, and a lot of those players are plenty familiar with each other regardless. - Victoro311
I guess if you’re willing to overlook the countless times your last sentence is proven wrong in hockey it makes sense. I’m just sticking to the data. |

When were the countless times that a top flight national team played a regular NHL team? Can we clone the players that would play for both teams at the same time? |

You're assuming Americans know who any of those people are besides Truedumb. They don't really learn about anyone, or anywhere else, but themselves, brother.
I would like a different government next turn...but the newest polls are starting to look a little troubling for this. - MattStrat
Not going to argue that most Americans know them, but I know who they all are. Poillievre is great. |

This could very well be Canada's 4th line...guys who are are good at defense and offense, can kill penalties and are sandpapery
Seth Jarvis - 45 points in 49 games, 89 PK minutes
Brandon Hagel - 62 points in 55 games, 110 PK minutes
Anthony Cirelli - 42 points in 53 games, 113 PK minutes
Bennett is being projected as 13th forward/scratch by quite a few people...I think I put him in that lineup...somehow haha
Not sure how you're arguing what you're arguing. I know that chemistry/synergy with continuity is a definitely a thing but we also have to keep in mind the x's and o's/systems of the game they've been playing since they were like 5 years old stay the same, or similar. |

I’d go Wilson-Bennett-Cirelli. (frank) Seth Jarvis on anyone’s 4th line. |

If Canada had a solid goalie I’d feel much better. Helley can easily be the difference. - 10inchTerror
Crazy that a top 3 goalie in the league this season, Logan Thompson, is not going to be there haha |

If you’re making a decision between Sam Bennett and Seth Jarvis for your fourth line you are clearly at a different level of competition than a standard NHL roster. As most things Grinder, no idea why this is even up for debate |

Points are OK, but how are they on zone exits and being awesome? |

Lets skip this 4 Nations talk and get to more important stuff... unrealistic trade proposals. Trade of the day:
FLA: Karlsson, Blomqvist & Hayes (1/2 ret) (or Glass)
PIT: Knight, Luostarinen, 2026 1st (or Samskovich)
This still leaves Florida with $20M to re-sign Ekblad, Bennett, Samskovich & a bottom 6 forward. Thats plenty, especially considering Karlsson will be a great add to their D.
I don't think much separates Knight and Blomqvist except for salary. Murashov is going to be our guy long term. Sure it is s super small sample, but he is 6-0 with a 1.99 GAA & .934 sv%. Thats incredible. Give him another year in the minors or let him compete with Knight & Ned next season. If Knight sucks this season, we could just buy him out and only take a $750k hit for 2 years.
I really like Luo as a 3C and we get a first. I think this is a win-win scenario. |
