Sam Hallam next NYR head coach. That’s a bold statement

Kinda seems like the same player as Fox but slightly younger and slightly less good. I wouldn't trade Laf for that.

Were not trying to acquire another Fox, were trying to replace Lindgren and give Fox the best possible partner. He may not be as gifted vision wise as Fox, however he is every bit as good a skater, defenseman and puck handler as Fox is.

As far as the hole at RD, in a subsequent move, I like Dante Fabbro's game and hes an upcoming FA.

However, ultimately, Im not too worried about the hole at RD because I dont care about this year. The move for Byram would be a move for the future. Officially locking up the top defensive pair for this team for the next 7 years.

Agreed. Byram is the guy to get. Power seems like a non starter for Buffalo

Game was alot more physical than what I was expecting. Being that it’s in the middle of the season, I was expecting more of an all star game mixed with the Olympics type game.

Kind of a weird question, but when it started getting physical for a little bit for some reason it popped in my head. Let’s say Marchand decides to be Marchand and boards someone (suspension worthy type hit). Can he be suspended when the regular season starts back up?

Theodore out for the remainder of 4 nations. If that injury is bad enough (didn’t look good) that could be a huge blow for VGK

If Theodore is out for awhile then Vegas just promotes Hanifin to be the top dog. They kind of underutilize him anyway

But Vegas probably becomes in the market for a 3rd pairing type lefty D man, seems like Lindgren would be a possibility there

They asked Bill Daly this in the world cup press conference yesterday. It would be only for this tournament, except for "exceptional cases"... Which they didn't define.

Hard to tell with that sort of injury. Even with the good angle from the boards, you can't tell how much his wrist was flexed due to the glove.
I did the same thing 2 weeks ago colliding with someone going for a loose puck and my wrist is almost fine.

Sweden seemed star-struck in the 1st period, then made one hell of a game out of it!! That had to be EXACTLY the start to the tourney that the league was looking for.

lol. Probably.
Did you hear them chanting "Crosby?" They all must be feeling schizophrenic today.

Edit: Sid is ageless, by the way.

No. Byram is the guy to get because of unstated reasons and if you question it that means that you think Byram is awful. Worse than Lindgren. Also it means you hate America and baby seals and we can't talk about anything on here because you are unreasonable
