I would like to see the PC have a more viable candidate, but since covid the strategy seems to appeal to the more radical side of their base. The votes they lost to the PPC.

PP is a reverse Trudeau, where JT trends too hard towards leftist issues PP is going to mimic the Danielle Smith agenda.

The idea of more liberal policies makes me want to vomit but when push comes to shove Carney's fiscally responsible approach is more logical than the nuclear option and more extremes.

Best case scenario seems to be the PC's take a loss with Polievere and figure out, give us a viable candidate down the line so there's a real election, and a guy like Carney gets a grip on inflation and is a respectable force against diabetes cheeto in the meantime.

I can’t stand Trump. He’s one of the worst humans to ever walk on the planet. But equating PP to him is a joke. I agree with maybe 70% of PP’s policies. But that’s a far cry from the 10-20% I agree with from the current Liber/NDP coalition. Most Americans I know voted trump while holding their noses because they knew they had to stop the waste and corruption.

Agreed taxes need to be better allocated, heck even lower it for those who make under $50 000 a year. Stop giving big breaks to companies and those who make over $500 000.
The ford government has wasted so much tax money and is doing it again...the libs have wasted some as well, but not as much.
Ive voted for cons and libs throughout my lifetime....im not attached to a party nor do i vote based on party. I vote for who i feel will represent most canadians, who is better for my kids, who will help people who need assistance. Who can hamdle world leaders (pp isnt it)

He said he’d balance the budget on operational expenditures (salaries, social programs, health, etc) in three years. He said he’d run a deficit on infrastructure spending. There’s pretty wide consensus that Canada needs to invest more on infrastructure.
