Hockey players play hockey. When hockey is played for real there is always a chance a player can get hurt. I have no problem with players putting it all on the line for their countries. That game on Saturday was one of the best sporting events, never mind hockey games, I have seen in a long time. The NHL has finally got something right and I hope this continues. I am lucky to be in Boston for this epic final tomorrow night. If this was just players going through the motions it would have been an epic failure and waste of time. Instead there is more buzz about this one hockey game than I have heard for any game in the past 20 years! Instead of lamenting injuries, let's just be glad to be hockey fans and enjoy it!
