We were at the Grand Canyon a few years back and there was a group of 6 (3 couples) that were taking forever doing stupid yoga poses for pics and playing awful electronic rave music on a speaker. Everyone was shaking their heads. I spoke up. Asked them to turn it off as everyone was just trying to enjoy the nature. They started mouthing back. But then the crowd all started clapping and telling them to turn it off. They got all pissed off and turned it off and walked away. (frank) people like that. Put them away and throw away the keys.

If you have a death wish. I'll once in blue moon put earbuds in if I'm on an actual rail trail or something where there are no cars and even then I have transparency mode on. I hear about these bone induction things but I haven't tried them yet.

That's part of what I like about cycling, having no input except sensory for long periods of time.

Yes. Yes please. Leave the boomboxes at home when hiking, camping, kayaking, and while trying to enjoy nature and the wilderness. I'm not out there to listen to music, good or bad, I don't care. Thankfully, the places I go fossil hunting are pretty remote and aren't popular with tourists. I rarely see people out there and I can hear them coming from a mile away when they do.

It drives me nuts when Im biking on the off road trails and I come across some kid with bluetooth speaker blaring music.
Even when I was younger I hated those guys with the huge subwoofers in there cars blasting it.....you barely heard the bass....just parts of their piece of poop car rattling lol.

I've voted conservative and liberal in the past...depending on the issues at hand and the person running. But the orangerapist, maga and anyone who defends him arent conservative anymore. Its not a left/right issue.

Golf is hard when you take it up in your 20s, only play 2-4 rounds for 20 years, not play at all for 10 years, then start taking it seriously in your 50s.



I have no idea why people feel the need to play crappy music when golfing or hiking.

And I'm even more baffled that golf courses allow it. I belong to a private club where the course marshal will literally stop you in the middle of your round to force you to tuck in your shirt. But blaring poopy country music is A-OK.
