Canada had more grade A chances and should have won without overtime.
I thought US spilled too much of emotions in the first meeting with Canada and would not be able to match Canada's team energy. It happens very often in sports.

Nope. Canada is better at hockey. USA has certainly caught up. If they had their 1st tier athletes playing hockey, it wouldn't be close. But Canada's focus is hockey and it shows.

Yes but my point was that the USA best athletes don't play hockey. If athletes like LeBron James and Myles Garrett played hockey, Canada would never win again.

It is very small sample size of posters here to make any conclusions.
And not everyone interested in politics on hockey site.
On the other side the hockey is tough game and usually tougher people can be found on conservative side.

Well, this is a Toronto based hockey team, and Ontario has been fairly left leaning historically.

I also think those on the right bite their tongue a lot more and quietly go about their business. That's why I think it was a shock to many that Repubs won the Presidency, House, and Senate.

So the Boston Bruins are apparently PISSED at USA hockey.

Word is McAvoy sustained a shoulder injury. The team USA doctors apparently without consulting the Bruins gave him a shot to try to allow him to play with the injury. The shot caused infection and McAvoy ended up in the hospital.

All apparently without the Bruins knowledge/approval. 😳

Because Canada’s ratios are much higher for left of centre, but divided due to two parties vying for votes. It’s definitely not 50/50.

Add in that the Leafs are in a Liberal stronghold city in a province that skews to the left of national average, and there you have it.
