You ask a #3/4 guy to be your #1D, you are gonna run into problems.

Matheson is who he is, has not changed since he has been here (when everyone loved him).

He is just not slotted in the right place, due to lack of talent on the team.

Just hoping for some moves at the TDL or summer this year. We need to make something happen and bring in a good player or 2. Obviously, I'm not saying "give" the players away!

It's just getting old waiting for players like Dach and Newhook to show more than their "potential" and watching poop stains like D-vo and the like is getting old.

At least we had good hockey to watch last week.

Hugo needs to make some depth moves so we're not (frank)ed when we get 1 or 2 injuries (Ghule and Heineman).

Doesn't seem to matter if we're decimated with injuries, or have 1 or 2. The outcome is the same.

the way you're talking about Matheson is the team would simply be better off without him, and could be replaced with anyone else in the lineup, which isn't true at all.

well, in my opinion at least. I get he isn't perfect but I don't get the hate at all.

also, Dach is the one who is actually stuck with Newhook and Laine imho, sure we'd like to see him do better right now but that line isn't working at all.

Were in a rebuild, there's not even a full team yet. Forget about depth
