Sigh, predictable after the midway point of the game. Absolutely abysmal effort after the first period. Much deserved. |

Plain definition of sitting on a lead. They deserve this. |

tbh, their 4 last wins... nothing really convincing (except 2 days ago in BUF). againts bottom 3rd teams.
sometimes you win when you should lose. |

Yup, can't believe they won't be sellers at the deadline... |

Should be no hesitation on selling IMO. Long way to go with the team still. |

At least they're a lot more clutch than last year which is reassuring. |

Ugly game and ugly win. But still take it. Positives of today are Caufield reaching 30, Suzuki is far and away the best player on this team with 3 more points. The numbers Caufield & Suzuki are putting up with the team being a one line squad is even more encouraging. What could their totals be with consistent help and a second line?
The break came at an ideal time for Hutson. He needed the break to reset/refresh. |

Hutson is pretty good as well and a huge steal in the 2nd round. Slaf is a big dude who will only get better. Sure they need to work on that 2nd line, but this is a very young team with the best player not playing in the NHL yet (Demigod) |

I don't think they would sell the farm to get a rental, but if a hockey trade can be made, or if they can grab a center at a reasonable price... I wouldn't be surprised.
a 2nd and a B prospect for Yanni Gourde? something like that |
