Never said he’s a bum. Plenty of teams and people still value him very highly.

I personally do not. I think to win in the NHL, more specifically, the NHL playoffs, you need big, physical defensemen. When the type of games we just watched get played, Fox doesn’t excel. He’s not built for that style of play, but that’s exactly what the playoffs are.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence the softer, smaller guys for team USA didn’t stand out in a good way. Hughes, Fox, Connor etc. all non factors. When time and space get taken away and the physical play starts, those guys wilt.

I’m not saying you can’t have small players, but if they’re small, they need to have some bite to their game, kinda like Berard.
