The problem with AV was he only cared about playing fast and with talent. Once teams started to push plus around we had no answer. And if anyone ever took 2 min. for standing up for a teammate they wouldn't see the ice again.
With Gallant, it was his inability to make in-game adjustments. The only thing he ever did was swap a couple of wingers.
There really is only a select few coaches who can play to the situational need, it seems. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

That, plus the shell played in third period, which killed them in 2014 against the Kings. In 2015, couldn't get the team motivated to come out fast at home against Tampa. But at some point, it stops being the coaches and starts being the players.

Miller and Borgen have been solid together. Prefer waiting until free agency rather than giving up an asset to replace one and then having to add another d-man.

Ok, so if thats the pair you want to go with moving forward... then in my opinion, you trade Schneider for someone that can play with Fox. If Miller doesnt click with Fox or Schneider, and Schneider is now on the 3rd pair. Somethings gotta give. Either trade Miller or trade Schneider.

He didnt really even hit him. He skated into him, cause thats where the puck was but wasnt like he was trying to check him.

LMAO @ Miller coming up the ice. He was looking to pass and visibly goes wtf youre not stepping up and keeps going skating into the zone and finds Cuylle.

I havenā€™t been watching but being outshot 12-5 in a first period sounds right

Not only do they look lost but they look so disengaged except for a select few. I donā€™t understand this team at all.

At this point firing Lavy may be the next step. Then go from there. Itā€™s going on too long like this. Last year whatever mojo they had is not there and this year they win by accident it seems like. Set Peca up to be the next HC

Yea I hate the fact that we are here again with firing another coach but cmon Lavy has to take some of the blame here. This is totally unacceptable.

Let's talk coaches.

Outside of coach Q, who would we even get to replace Lavy next season? Since I doubt they make a change in season now. But zero shots this period is a (frank)ing joke

I just want to give Michael Peca a chance to run things before we lose him this offseason. Donā€™t want another Knoblauch situation. Letā€™s see what he has
